It's a sturdy, well built box for the price. Considering the cost of materials, 3/4" MDF sides, 1" MDF face, fabric, terminals, etc. you won't be able to build a box for any cheaper than this, so it's a good starting point to improve on if needed. Upon arrival, the wood glue was peeling off, so I resealed it with titebond III and so far it's holding up and sounds good. ... show more

My ported box was too big and had to be assembled inside the trunk, making it impossible to get to the spare tire. I decided to switch to a smaller sealed box and this one was the cheapest option with fast shipping. It arrived in perfect condition and looks great with the matching carpet. My CT Sounds Tropos fit the cutouts great. The box is nice and heavy with the 3/4" sides and 1" front. It looks well put together and should hold up fine over time. I'll update if I ever have any complaints but as of right now I can't imagine a better value on a prefab box. ... show more
