At first, it worked okay and heated up our room good. You could feel the heat well within 6 feet of it. It oscillates well. The remote is black with black button, so it's had to read and the buttons don't always work well. It started to spark when unplugged, so we got a surge protector to plug into. Then, it started tripping it, so we are too leary to use it now...

This is a very nice fast working heater! If you want a heater that's going to heat your living space up in no time this is definitely the one! It oscillates, has a timer that works wonderfully, comes with a remote, blows heat like it's nobody's business! It heats our place up so fast that I can't have it on for very long before I have to cut it off. But just in case I forget to turn it off it's got a timer. It's also got tip over protection safety feature which is great for giving me piece of mind! If you're looking for and all around great heater this is definitely the one you're looking for! And it has a very nice modern design as well that goes with any type of decor.

There is an alarming amount of instructions telling you about how not to plug this in and how to plug it in. Kind of concerning. Seems like maybe this doesn't have the correct gauge of wire for the cord. The screen scratches so easily that it scratch while I was peeling the protective layer off. The remote doesn't come with batteries so it's useless out of the box. If you don't put it in eco mode then you can only choose heat levels H1, H2, or H3. I don't even understand. You have to put it in eco mode to select a temperature. Make it make sense. That said, it does what it's supposed to do, heats.

There are 6 buttons on the control panel of the space heater, and on my version only 2 of them work at all, and only 1 of them works consistently. They're based off of touch (as in, there's nothing to mechanically press down) and I've tried all I can think of to make them more responsive to my hands - I made sure my skin wasn't damp nor too dry, but nothing helps; they simply do not work. This would render the heater useless save for the remote control, which allows me to use the product successfully. Still, though, were this not an item received for review, I'd be exchanging it! The pros about the heater are that it's an attractive design and the tower shape, paired with the carry handle set into the back of it, makes it effortless to lift it up and reposition it. It does churn out a lot of heat and it's nice how customizable the temperature settings are. Further, it's extremely sensitive to any shifts in position -- the safety shut-off kicks in every time I lift it up, which reassures me that god forbid it fall over when unattended, it would be safe. One small complaint is that the remote's buttons are tone-on-tone; the symbols denoting what each button does is simply set into the black rubber, so if you need reading glasses you're going to have to reach for them until/unless you memorize the position of the buttons.

This heater is adequate for our needs. It heats up quickly in a 6 ft radius and we keep it under the office desk for when our feet are cold. I do wish the plug is grounded but thankfully we do not leave this on unsupervised.
