But I was very pleased with the way they look, and they were very well packaged, so they arrived in perfect condition. The quality of the lamps is really good for the price as I have seen them for more money and much smaller lamps. The charging ports are great and make charging anything very easy to use. The brightest setting on the lamp gives off a great amount of light and fit perfectly on my nightstands and look great in the room. I was looking for bedside lamps for a while because I have pretty high expectations. These met almost all my needs. The Good: 1) The sleek glass and gold design is really nice and can fit a lot of different interior styles. 2) The lamps have 2 usb plugs each. I knew I wanted a lamp with charging capabilities and having 2 is even better 3) Touch functions- you can tap the base or top (finial) to turn the lamps on. They have 3 different levels of brightness, which is really nice. The bad: 1) The shades that come with these are horrible. They come rolled up and connect with Velcro around wire rims. I bought new shades (pictured) for $20 each, so an additional $40 total. Not a deal breaker because the lamps are such a good deal. All in all, completely recommend. ... show more

Very disappointed with these lamps and I am not usually one to write reviews or complain. However, this is now the second set that has been sent to me that the tap to turn on and off constantly goes in an out. Very unreliable product having to unscrew the wiring section every-time I want the lamps to work, seems to be a problem with the product design as the wire in the neck of the lamp is squeezed in there. These lamps are really nice and stylish. I love the 3 levels of brightness. They were extremely easy to put together and are of very good quality.
