I bought these as a cheaper alternative to my normal boot. I've had them for about 2 months at this point and I can see wear on the tread however the tread is pretty thick so in the spots where it's wearing I was able to cut them down a little further. They aren't the most comfortable in there soles but an insole made them extremely comfortable and they fit inside the boot with plenty of extra room for your foot. The composite toe works great in a wood shop but I don't know how comfortable I would feel on site in them, i think they would shatter or break if I dropped something over like 300 lbs. All in all this was a solid purchase. If the tread wasn't starting to wear already they would be a solid 5 for your money.

I have 6.5 women's (us) shoe size and live where it snows in the winter. I really needed work boots that went above my ankle so that when I have to brush off my car after work my ankles don't have frostbite. They actually fit, went crazy expensive that look good. They are a bit on the wide side, and one of the you're caps presses down a bit, but not too uncomfortable.

The ridge where the steel toe meets the fabric digs into the bend of your toes. The foot pad is soft but the sole bed is so rigid it digs into the bottoms of your feet, and the spongyness of the pad means the middle of the foot can sink deeper while the sides of the sole bite deeper. It's like walking around wearing giant cookie cutters blade side up. Insult to injury, my husband's pair blew out the side in the middle of the workday because the seam gave.

These boots are super comfy and look real cute with some scrunched up socks. I wear these to work at a warehouse and they definitely feel lightweight but sturdy. I recommend buying some soles with these for extra comfort.

I've been wearing these for 4 months. Before this I wore the Condor leather / synthetic boots for 5 years! They had fully rubber capped toes that never wore out. The soles were softer but cracked in certain situations. Sadly, the Condor was unavailable so I ordered these. These boots by comparison have stiffer souls, lack a full rubber cap over the toes - toes get damaged as a result. These boots are so light they feel like sneakers and are cooler in hot conditions sole is stiffer but wears much faster. Toe of my right foot was rubbing on something for a while but that went away. They could be worth getting if you want the lightest boot possible and don't mind the lack of water or spill resistance and want something the breathes.

I go through boots regularly, usually the sides blow out or the sole comes off. Im a heavy guy and I'm regularly mobile. This is the first boot in a while that has lasted more than 6 months. Heck, I've bought a few that lastd less than a week.
