Update 2/18/26: changed rating from 3 to 5 stars. Seller contacted me and offered a full refund. It was a very pleasant surprise since it's been a year since I purchased it, but I greatly appreciate the customer service! Original review: Bought this about a year ago and it worked great initially, when everything was new and solid. We normally use it about once a week, and usually one full tank is enough to do the whole apartment. The first problem I ran into was getting additional replacement pads. I couldn't find any pads sold by the brand itself, at least on Amazon. I bought some for a different brand similar model but the size is different where they actually attach to the steamer so had to return those and get a 3rd party replacement set which don't work well because if you need to lift the steamer even just enough to take pressure off the head, the pads just go flying everywhere. The hook and loop system won't hold them at all and it because less "sticky" very quickly so even the pads that came with the machine started flying off quite early. The other issue is that a few months after purchasing it started squeaking and what looked like small pieces of burned plastic started flying out of where the pads are attached. Seems like the plastic isnt rated for the heat that the steam puts out and started deteriorating. So now it just squeaks all the time as the pads are rotating. Will be buying a shark roller brush steamer to replace this one, the shark rotating pad steamer is actually a bit cheaper than this model right now, I would go with that one if I were to buy a pad steamer again.

I used this for a month to give it a fair shot but this product failed to live up to expectations. 1 - On initial usage, pieces of the equipment came from the item as it was being used. Some were little black bits of rubber that got melted and on first 2-3 usages, I had to follow up after my mopping with a vacuum to pick it up 2 - The pads to not stay on. One side of the machine is constantly falling off and I spend a lot of time replacing it during usage 3 - It is horribly loud. Perhaps because it was falling apart on initial usage, but after 1 month I had enough and had to discard it. I paid over 100 bucks for it

Love this mop but pads keep coming off while using it. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong as I'm not hard on it and am using the mops provided with the mop vac. I like that I can clean them, the mop head angles really well and the body of it can go low allowing me to go under the bed and furniture a good bit. This makes my floors look so good and I feel they are sanitized after I use the steam mop. It does take a minute or so to heat up (understandably) and you have to tilt the body and press a button to have the steam function work. I love this mop however for some reason the pads keep flying off or bunching up and swinging off. They are supposed to click in place and they do but they keep still coming off like quite often. Often enough that I'm furious by the time I'm done. They're easy enough to stick on but I wish there was a way to clip them so they were harder to take or come off. The cord is super long which I like because it allows me to go for a long time without having to change outlets. Water is easy to add and I always dump the water after I'm done just because I don't want it sitting idle with water in it for periods of time.

The mop itself works excellent, and customer service is hassle free, however the quality of the unit leaves a lot to be desired. My original unit started to leak from multiple areas, I contacted customer support and received a new mop quickly. Now the new mop is leaking from the bottom of the reservoir after only a couple months.

FINALLY! I found a mop that I love. I have tried countless mops over the years and hated everyone. I have the Shark hydro vacuum, Swiffer wet jet, Swiffer wet cloth mop and Cedar spin mop. Beside the Ocedar all of them 👎

We like the steam mop but you can’t buy replacement pads. Even though the pads it comes with are washable and include an extra set, they wear out and Pursteam advises replacing them every 3 to 4 months. So by their logic, with the current product support they offer, the mop is good for about 6 months. Their Customer Support remains positive however and the comments I received from the company follow below. “Unfortunately, we don’t currently sell replacement pads for our Scrub Master Steam Mop, and there aren’t any third-party sellers offering compatible pads at this time. The good news is that the pads are washable, so you can clean and reuse them multiple times. We also plan to offer replacement pads in the future, though we don’t have an exact release date just yet. In case there's something wrong with your current mop pads or the unit itself, please don't hesitate to reach out to us, and we'll be happy to help you. Your unit is covered with a 1-year warranty, so there's nothing to worry about.”
