I recently purchased this lamp and really fall in love with it. Not only me but my kid is the same. He wants to turn on mostly evey night before go to bed. The vision of the galaxy is pretty clear, they have many pictures of the galaxy so you can pick which one you want. They move the galaxy slowly around and can set the timer for it to turn it off automatically. The base are stable and light weight. I recently purchased this Planetarium Projector for my daughter and beyond thrilled with it! From the moment we turned it on, the room was transformed into a stunning cosmic display. Works pretty well, nice basic projector with plenty of disks to change up the view. Only issue I had was the rotation mechanism. Poor quality parts resulted in binding of the internal gears that rotated the disk. Disassembling of the housing and the motor was required to fix the poorly made gears. Tooth sizes were not uniform across the gear resulting in binding, warping and side shifting of the disk. Once fixed and reassembled, have not had any further issues, and now works as intended. I may have just recieved a rare defect, but this is my experience and did not reach out to customer service over the issue as I was capable of fixing it myself and being Christmas I wanted a working product as opposed to waiting for a replacement. ... show more

Images and anything near what product claims..... blurry, slow and definitely a misleading product. Wish I could send it back for a refund but lousy customer service and constant runaround with them. Don't waste your money!!!
