I use Amazon for most of my household purchases because nothing beats just whipping out your phone when you run out of something, but I had to change a few of my go-to items to stuff Amazon carries. It took me quite a few tries to find a kitty litter that worked for us. This is now my monthly purchase. The biggest plus for me is the scent. I have two cats in a small, two bedroom apartment and it's very easy for the place to start smelling like litter box. This stuff has a nice scent, without being overwhelming. Some brands overload on a scent, and then when your cats curl up on you after using the litter box, they reek of overly sweet diaper smell. This litter doesn't do that. The bathroom their litter box is in slightly smells of the scent, but that's it. Plus, this litter is nice and chunky, so it doesn't fly up like a dust when they use it - I think that's why they don't get covered in the smell. And you can't really beat the price. For the size of this bag, the price is reasonable. I love the cat litter. It clumps well, masks odors, and it does NOT create a lot of dust when scooping or pouring. The same could not be said of the previous cat litter that I purchased - dust was everywhere. I am happy with this litter and will be purchasing it again. The only downside for me is that it's in a bag instead of an easy pour container, but the quality of the litter is worth sacrificing that convenience. ... show more

During these corona times I've found it difficult and scary to go out to the store especially when I need to stock up on large heavy products like cat litter and climb up to the forth floor of my apartment complex. On amazon its cheaper than at my local grocery store and the delivery driver brings it up for me and leaves it at my door for me! :D, what more could I ask for lol. Every product I order for my pets has increased so drastically on Amazon thatIve ordered for years because I’m disabled has doubled in price or more and I cannot understand how their allowed to take advantage of the pandemic and double and tripled for animal food and supplies which was great before this outrageous increase due to my severe disabilities I can’t drive or lift anything and now I’m in a very bad situation unable to afford pet food through what I was used to being delivered at a reasonable price which is why I joined amazon prime. Product reasonably priced everything else on prime has drastically increased to the point I can’t afford to order everything as I have for years because of the prices being incredibly increased since the pandemic I know and expected a slight increase but not to this degree every pet food & cat litter is unaffordable even for healthy people who are able to work which can go to a store unlike myself. ... show more

I’ve use Tidy cats for the last year; I’d try other brands of clay litter and they didn’t seem to cast as long as tidy cat (I try and scoop daily, sometimes every other day) and dump and start fresh when needed... with other liters when needed was often bc they couldn’t contain the smell. Tidy cat we could replenish litter and avoid a full dumping and starting over longer. What I hate about it... (and I just realized it’s not advertised on this particular package) is the tracking.... we have cat boxes with a littler catcher outside them and in a room of carpet, but we still manage to get litter on our non carpeted floor. Also, I don’t love clay litter, scooping isn’t as easy as I would prefer. I did try changing littler types recently to worlds best litter bc I read it was easier to scoop and less tracking... and though it was great for me..... one of my cats hated it and he starting peeing around the house (something he has never done before) so....back to tidy cats we go. ... show more

Pricey so I have come to mix both this with natural clay by same. Fantastic product and best of ALL the litters for cost! Easy & NEVER ODORS. I have only one inside cat and I don't clean it except every two days. Litter will last a long time if cleaned.

This bag is the best way for my cattery to buy Performance Tidy Cat Litter with the best savings. I really prefer the lite weight and with a scent by Tidy Cat but I go thru a lot and this is the best savings. Sometimes I think that Prime membership is high but I use shipping so much that over pays for this very heavy box lots a times a year. Also what I do not like about it is that sometimes I have to clean the boxes several times a day and the urine gets very hard to get out if not many hours old. That is my only gripe. ... show more

I've been using the Purina Tidy Free & Clean Unscented cat litter but purchased this one to try it out. I think compared to the unscented one, this litter is poorer in clumping power so things easily break down when I'm trying to scoop them. The sand/beads are also smaller so they fly everywhere more easily and it gets messier when the cat leaves the litter box, which can get very frustrating. Also don't really appreciate the smell. It as this apple-like smell that is not so pleasant whenever I have to clean the litter box. Would rather recommend Purina Tidy Free & Clean Unscented Cat Litter! ... show more
