This litter mat does exactly what I hoped it would do. It catches a surprising amount of litter before it gets tracked throughout the house. The double-layer design works well, allowing loose litter to fall through the top layer and collect underneath instead of ending up all over the floor. Although, I wish I would not have ordered the smallest size. One size up would have been even better. But, that doesn't take away from the function of mat. The mat is soft enough for cats to walk on comfortably, and my cats had no problem using it right away. I also like that it's waterproof, which provides some extra protection for the floor around the litter box area. Cleaning is simple. When the mat fills with litter, I just lift it, empty the trapped litter, and put it back in place. It has definitely reduced the amount of sweeping and vacuuming I need to do around the litter box. The gray color blends in nicely, and the material feels durable enough for everyday use. We love these!! We have 3 in our home 2 large ones (30x24) and one smaller one. They are great for catching litter and make cleaning up super easy. They are super easy to use. We just scoop the sides up and dumb the litter back that way. They are super flexible and well made. We wash out in the shower and also just wipe the top off if needed. The 30x24 is the perfect size for our standard litter box. I also love that they are decently “aesthetically pleasing” in our bathroom. This cat litter mat works really well overall. It arrived folded, so it took a little while for it to flatten out completely, but once it did, I was very happy with it. The honeycomb design does a great job of trapping litter that gets tracked out of the litter box. One of my favorite features is how easy it is to collect the litter and dump it back into the trash, which helps keep the area much cleaner. We have several of these in various sizes, and we just ordered more to replace the remaining mats of other types (4 cats, 5 litter boxes). We love these - they're much more effective than any other litter mats we've ever tried. They do an excellent job of getting the litter off the paws and collecting it, and they're deep enough that you don't have to immediately clear them - they work for weeks. When you do feel the need, it's easy to vacuum them (I use a small shop vac), or you can just pick them up and hold them vertically, letting all the litter slide out through the one open end. They're also soft and squishy, so they're comfortable to step on, for either us or the cats. (And tbh, I sometimes step on one to get stray litter bits off my socks.) They seem to be quite durable, as well - we've been using a couple of them for 4 years and they show no signs of wear, unlike some flat mesh-topped ones that cracked and split after a while. The material is sufficiently non-skid that we can tuck one end under the litter box, and that keeps it firmly in place. (Otherwise it does tend to skate away.) Note that they arrive folded once or twice (at least for the larger sizes), but that flattens right out after a day or two, so don't be alarmed. ... show more

This mat does just an ok job of catching litter. I still have to vacuum constantly around the litter box. However, if your cat has a digestive issue and some feces gets in those holes, it's quite gross and you will likely throw it in the trash like I did. I had no desire to clean my cat's waste from all those holes. Rather than buy another, I'm going to try a more plush rug to grab the litter of their paws. At least I could throw that into the wash if my cat had the same accident. ... show more

Excellent kitty litter mat! I’ve had many cats and used many mats and this one is by far the best! Catches litter from cat paws and prevents them from tracking it all over the house. Also water proof. I have a cat that pees over the side of the litter box and I put one under the box to protect my floors. I love the mat so much that I bought two more! I used to vacuum the area daily, with these mats down I don’t have to vacuum nearly as much! ... show more

This mat works great. I came folded up and it took a while to get it flattened out, but that’s my only complaint. It works well and traps a lot of litter, my cat does not have a problem walking on it either.
