I have tried so many different types of litter mats for my cat over the years but this one wins hands down! I love how the excess litter falls through the holes when my bat gets out of the box & can be poured back either back in to her box or into the garbage. This collects more kitty litter than any other mat I’ve tried, over 30+ years of sharing my house with cats! No more trying to vacuum litter mats several times and still not getting all of the litter out of them! Not to mention the smell that builds up over time from the litter that stays in the mat no matter how hard you try to get it out, ugh. I do recommend the larger size though - at first I bought 1 small and 1 large. The small didn’t cover enough area for my cat so I was walking on too much litter on my lvp floors. Excellent mat. The really nice thing about this one is that the mesh is a separate layer, allowing the litter to be poured (or easily vacuumed, which is what I do). Without that feature, the litter would go everywhere when you try to dump it out.

The product works, but it would sure be nice if it were bigger. Any cat on the planet can easily jump over it or walk around it. It also moves too easily on tile surfaces, and I find I have to keep adjusting it to the front of the cat box.

I wasn’t sure this thing was going to live up to the hype, but my 18 year old cat just proved me wrong in the biggest way! She COMPLETELY missed the litter box (butt hanging over the side) and, well, let’s just say it was a deluge. This mat held EVERYTHING in. It was also a breeze to clean, no clumping litter getting stuck anywhere.     • I like it, but… the cat butts ruin it

This pad works as it should, trapping litter when cats exit the litter box. I have some messy cats, who don’t always have their rear in the box while relieving, so the pad inevitably gets dukkies on it. And that is when I don’t like the pad. There are way too many nooks and crannies for the dukkies to get stuck in, and it becomes a huge chore to clean it off. After trying to make this pad work for me, I give up, and will be shopping for a single layer pad that is thinner, has a gripping base and is washable.
