This litter is great! The weight is slightly heavy in the box, but the quality is wonderful. I bought an automatic litter box from Amazon as well, and use this litter for that, and it works really well. It clumps perfectly around urine and fecal matter and does not emit a smell at all! I have two cats so you can imagine how much waste they make. The litter itself is great and definitely produces clean clumps and prevents odors. The issues I have with it, however, and that the scent is so strong it’s almost nauseating if you live in a smaller space (apartment or keep in bathroom, for example). The scent also lingers on your cat’s paws for a good while, and for people sensitive to strong odors this could be quite irritating—I would imagine this isn’t great for your furry friends either. Secondly, if you dump a considerable amount of litter out to fill a box completely, the litter is quite dusty and will take awhile to settle. I don’t think it’s safe to breathe any of that in. I found a relatively new born kitten in my yard. I thought back at having a litter box when I once had a cat and began to be repulsed at this part of cat ownership. Well, this later is the " Cat's Meow " so to speak. The smell is absolutely wonderful. It works well and during the cleaning of box it releases the most wonder fragrance! OMG! Consequently, I now love cleaning the litter box. I love how it manage's the waste, clumping it. Cleanup is a breeze and a pleasure. Wish I could teach my dogs to use a litter box!
