I have been using this litter for my cats for many years. It clumps really well and neutralizes odors quickly. I’ve never had a cat show any discomfort with stepping on or otherwise interacting with this litter. It does track kind of a lot, but litter mats and regular vacuuming (both of which should be standard for any home with cats regardless of litter type) keep it in check. If they ever get rid of the unscented option, I will be very sad and will have to start searching for a new one. Cats have such incredibly strong senses of smell, and scented litter is so overwhelming that it makes me uncomfortable, so I can only imagine how bad that’d be for the cats. This is hands down the best litter I have ever used, and I will not switch to anything else. I use an automatic litter box, and this litter works perfectly with it. The clumping is excellent. It forms tight, solid clumps that do not crumble or fall apart, which makes the automatic cleaning cycle smooth and effective. There is very little sticking, which is important with an automatic system. The scent smells amazing without being overpowering. It keeps the area fresh, even with multiple cats. The Gain scent is clean and noticeable in a good way. The only thing to note is that it is heavy, especially the larger box. That can make pouring it a little more of a workout. However, the performance makes it worth it. Overall, it controls odor extremely well, clumps perfectly, works great with an automatic litter box, and is absolutely worth the money. I am overall really happy with this cat litter The scent isn't overwhelming and it is currently being used for my household of two cats. I have a automatic robot litter box and it seems to scoop it quite nicely and I like that it doesn't stick to the sides of the litter box. The litter isn't too heavy either. I don't like the lightweight stuff that you can buy because I don't think it clumps as well however this stuff works great! The texture of this letter is high quality in my opinion and it has worked the best for me in terms of durability and longevity and also helps with the smell. Everything about this litter is good other than the dust. It tracks less than the other brands that I had "Arm and Hammer" and it does well with odor. The only negative is that it produces big dust clouds when you scoop it. Everything in my laundry room is covered in litter dust. I assume it is not good to breath in either. We have two cats and have tried several different types of cat litter. Fresh Step cat litter works really well for controlling odor. It keeps the litter box smelling fresh between cleanings and does a great job managing unpleasant smells in the home. It has ammonia-blocking technology, which really helps reduce strong odors and keeps the area smelling much cleaner for longer. The clumping ability is excellent, making scooping very easy and convenient, with clumps that hold together well for quick cleanup. It has zero odor if its own and a dirty box still has zero odor. I can hardly believe it. Also zero dust cloud when filling the box. No tracking. This is miracle cat litter. I’ve been using tidy cat up until now which advertises all these things and doesn’t come close.
