I have been using this litter for my cats for many years. It clumps really well and neutralizes odors quickly. I’ve never had a cat show any discomfort with stepping on or otherwise interacting with this litter. It does track kind of a lot, but litter mats and regular vacuuming (both of which should be standard for any home with cats regardless of litter type) keep it in check. If they ever get rid of the unscented option, I will be very sad and will have to start searching for a new one. Cats have such incredibly strong senses of smell, and scented litter is so overwhelming that it makes me uncomfortable, so I can only imagine how bad that’d be for the cats. Like many others, I have tried all the things for cat litter and litter boxes, etc. The honesty truth is poop is poop.. and theres nothing clean or good smelling about it. What I am finding though, is this litter works very well on a routine. I have this delivered once a month or so and each week we do spot scooping until trash day and then we dump and replace the litter. It seems to keep it rotated well where we dont have any bothersome smells and keeps it affordable. The only downside we have is that this litter does 'track' quite a bit. No more so than other similar litters, but it may be helpful to have a step mat for your kitty so the litter crumbs are not getting everywhere. ... show more

I bought Fresh Step Advanced Simply Unscented Clumping Litter for my & inside cats use in their litter boxes. I choose unscented because I am trying to correct a spraying problem (culprit is in the pic 🤪🤣). It clumps well. It’s easy to scoop. They seem happy with it so far!
