I got my Aeron over 10 years ago,, but only used it occasionally when I got home from work. I have been working from home since 2020 and was happy that I already had a great ergonomic chair which got lots of use over the last two years. Due to overall age of the chair, which hasn't had any issues aside from this pad, and increase in recent use, I noticed the original pad would start moving/shifting every couple of months, so I was happy to find an affordable replacement. This is not a Herman Miller genuine replacement. It arrived just the pad in a box, without any wrap. The double faced tape is very very difficult to peel it off. I waited almost 7 days on this item, but turned out not worth it. If you're looking a Herman Miller pad replacement, just buy any one you could get, this one is no better than other item serving the same purpose but only priced at $8. ... show more

Take out the crumbling seat foam you have. Wipe it down with alcohol. Gently work the new foam replacement in and push around the edges and the middle so it's secure. When you sit you should notice a different. I love this foam replacement and noticed an improvement right away.

    • Fits as expected but adhesive is old
Double sided adhesive is very d. When I went to peel it, it ripped the foam. I left it as is and just wedged it in the appropriate spot. Time will tell if it stays. Would return but I’d have to jump through hoops so hoping this works out.
