We have a 9 gallon Master Gardener battery sprayer from Valley Industries and we like it. However, the OEM plastic handle split completely down the middle. Aaargh. This replacement fit perfectly in the 3/8" plastic tubing and it appears that we got lucky with the barb sizing based on other reviews here. We chose this particular replacement over several similar items because of the larger spray handle. Unfortunately the handle is still plastic, but it's definitely better engineered than our original part that died after less than 6 months of use. We like the stainless steel wand, stainless nozzle and brass barb fitting, which are all huge improvements over the original OEM parts. However, the nozzle puts out too much spray, which means that we're on the hunt for different nozzles that have more flow restriction. Ideally, we're also looking for a wand that is either all brass or all stainless steel to end the failures of plastic. ... show more
