Okay yeah it's a little pricey but in my opinion it's worth it. Great quality! I usually buy pool brushes that cost around $25. I've had 4 other brushes that have lasted a year or two before they start losing bristles or the bristles get too soft to clean well. This brush from ProTuff has stiff bristles which are doing a great job on my pebble finish pool. It's 22" wide versus most brushes that are around 18". Between the width and the substantial bristles, it has been taking me about half the time to brush down my pool. I don't have to take as many strokes with this brush and it does a great job on the corners. I can get the waterline tiles clean in just one or two passes where it used to take at least 3 passes with any other brush I've had. This brush also takes deposits off the waterline tiles that I used to have to get off with a Magic Eraser pad. Takes be half the time to clean my pool, has a lifetime replacement warranty, and my pool has never been cleaner. Yeah, it's worth the price.

Lifetime warranty notwithstanding, I am never going to need to buy another one of these. It's a brute. Most of my life is in the rearview mirror so I'm not even marginally interested in buying any so called "high-value" item that I'm going to have to buy yet again. This is definitely not one of those. At opening the box it was easy to see at once that this is a quality, robust and durable product that lives up to the standards ProTuff has set for their offerings. I have a small 12K gallon pool with a pebble tec surface. What caught me by surprise is that this brush, compared to the cheap-o one I had, needs a new approach to moving it around. It is significantly more difficult to push if you're not ready for it especially at a steep angles. Not sure if it is because of the stiffer bristles or the hydro dynamics that press it down on the surface when moving forward on the floor or down the walls. Could be that you won't notice it if you have a smooth gunite/plaster pool. It took me a couple of sweep regimen days to get used to it and develop an approach knack to be prepared for the resistance. Now it's not a big issue and because of the brush's efficiency I'm done in 30% or so less time than before. The curved up ends are a welcome feature in my curvy pool bottom and stairs. Before, I had to go back with a different pole and a modified deck brush to hit those areas. My old brush needed more than just one pass on the bottom to rid the pool of our Arizona desert dust but this one leaves nearly nothing behind after one pass. I have the brush paired with one of ProTuff's telescoping pool poles making pool sweeping less of a chore and less of a painful burden on my arthritic hands. The pool sweeping job is now less stressful because, going in, there's confidence I'm going to get a good result and a presentable pool. Believe it or not, the task is becoming more therapeutic than work. If forced to mention any trepidation about the item it would be over the colors. I have no issue with the black and red aesthetically I do like it but, the colors are very dark versions and it hangs on a wall where it is exposed to the dangerously hot Arizona desert sun for most of the day. I try to get the jobs done in the early morning or early evening because at any other time of the day the poles are so hot I can't touch them without gloves on. With those dark colors I have to assume the brush is even hotter. I've got fingers crossed it will be able to handle it at least for this season. Time is at a premium now but eventually I'll try to craft a protection solution for it perhaps out of styrofoam and some wood ribbing. To be continued. (I'm thinking I might just take it off the pole and stash it in the deck box as soon as I'm done making my neighbors jealous over it.) In summary, I am very pleased with this product as it is a pleasure to use and I would have no reservations about recommending it. Enjoy!

Pro-Tuff Pool Products are the BEST! This is the fourth product I've bought from Pro-Tuff (I think they only sell 4 different items, so I've basically bought everything they sell!), and just like the other 3 I know I'll never have to buy another one! It may seem that the price is a little high for a simple pool brush, but think about how many brushes you probably have bought for your pool in the past 10 years. I live in South Florida, and the UV rays from the sun basically destroy anything left outside (or maybe it's the chlorine in the pool, but I have to buy a new brush about every 2 years because the bristles start falling out). But now that I bought a Pro-Tuff pool brush, I know I'll never have to buy another one. I first bought one of their leaf rake/skimmers, and when I tore the net, Pro-Tuff replaced it without question, or even asking for pictures. I've read reviews for some of their other products where someone complained about poor customer service and it being difficult to get a replacement product. I'm not sure what planet they live on because this is the easiest company I've ever dealt with when it comes to warranty service! I have no doubt that whenever the brush does eventually fail and the bristles start falling out, all I'll have to do is send a warranty replacement request and the replacement product will show up on my doorstep a few days later! I only recently bought the brush and have only used it a couple of times, but it's awesome! Especially when connected to their pool pole. I purchased their pool pole back in April this year and unlike any other pole I've ever owned, theirs is so sturdy and strong it hardly flexes at all even when really applying pressure with the brush or skimming the surface with the leaf rake. So even though I'm pretty sure it won't last forever, it doesn't matter because I'll never have to buy another one. When this company says their products come with a lifetime replacement guarantee - they really mean it! I strongly recommend all their products, and would encourage anyone "sitting on the fence" to just go ahead and order one. Once you see if for yourself you'll know you made the right decision to spend a little more now, knowing that you'll spend much less in the long run. One last comment - when you register online, Pro-Tuff gives you the option to get periodic emails from them regarding pool care tips as well as other products they think are great like theirs. The emails are an excellent source for good ideas to reduce the cost of maintaining your pool by focusing on the most important aspects of water balance and simple inexpensive alternatives to buying some chemicals from your local pool store. They also enter you for a monthly drawing for $1000 worth of pool products from any company who sells on Amazon. This is a great company that prides itself on excellent customer service!

This is a very sturdy brush and worth the price, for sure. I've been using it for over 2 years and today the pin that holds the brush head to the pole adapter snapped off. I called the manufacturer and within a few minutes they processed my warranty claim to send a replacement part. Pool brushes are susceptible to a lot of wear and tear and having gone through a bumper of cheap brushes I decided to pay for a better quality product with a strong warranty. I'm so glad I did! With that stated, if I need other pool equipment that this company makes, I'll be sure to buy theirs rather than a cheaper brand.
