I just wanted a garage heater for winter time. My garage is pretty drafty, but I did also purchase a CO2 detector for this type of heater. It works good. You add your propane tank, follow the instructions and then you get 1, 2 or 3 burners going depending on your choice. I just had it going tonight to take the chill off. I does kick out the heat. There is no blower, so you might want a fan going to move the air around. The heat goes out the front and rises out the top. I bought this to heat a certain portion of my house. I also immediately saved a bunch on my electric bill. I got sick of paying to heat unused rooms in my home. It rolls easily on tile or carpeted floors and has a safety cut off switch in case it gets unbalanced. I only use it when I'm at home as you should ... show more

    • Good heat output but igniter doesn't work.
The heat output is great. I only have to run on low to keep small out building warm. Only complaint is that igniter does not work at all. I have to light with match. It wasn't worth trouble to send back for replacement.

Igniter/pilot is very difficult to operate in very low temperatures. I sometimes had to use a regular lighter to get it going, but works perfectly fine once started. Heats up a two car garage within like 35mins.

    • Bigger than anticipated. Lots of heat
I was kinda surprised when it came in at the size. (I thought it simply had a hookup for the 20lb bottle but it actually stores it in the backside.) The wheels aren't super mobile as 2 of them hang up if you try to spin the heater around but the 3 heat settings are awesome. Small space or large. I've tried in both and it heats up a 16x20ft loft shed in around 10 minutes (it was about 10 degrees F to start). On the level 3 setting ... show more
