A Hunter quality fan for a very reasonable price. This one is our second purchase of this fan. Our family room has two ceiling fans. On broke, so we bought the first one of these fans. We liked it so much we decided to replace the other ceiling fan that was 30+ years old and making noise. This is a quite fan that moves a lot of air with five blades. The light is bright enough too. This is a great fan, and not even "for the money". We've always bought name brand, thinking they were better. We couldn't have been more wrong. This was half the price of the name brand counterparts and was better than them. It hooked up quickly and easily. There was absolutely no wobble, which seems to be standard for more expensive fans. The light is bright without being glaring. Plus, (big plus) it's so quiet! I am so happy with this fan that I am ordering three more. The styling is top notch and the finish is perfectly beautiful. I was skeptical it would be much good for the low price and sure enough, it’s made in china but really, it’s well made and the directions written in good English with good pictures! Like the others have commented, it runs very quiet and the blade balancer kit was a nice touch though mine doesn’t need it. No wobble! My only concern is the wiring is very small gauge and the wire connector nuts provided are junk. I reused my old ones. It’s fine, just don’t use an old school 100 watt incandescent bulb. I assembled, disassembled, then assembled again in less than 40 minutes. Why the disassembly? Because I didn’t follow directions and didn’t join the blue and black wires under the wire nut, thus the light kit was without power. I really liked the bracket that goes to the ceiling box, in that it allows you to hang the bracket and motor with a hinge-like support while allowing you to connect the wires without a helper. Tip: make sure you check that your electrical connections are secure by pulling on the wires after you’ve screwed them into the wire nut, and wrap a bit of electrical tape around the wires and onto the nut, just for good measure. The LED bulb that comes with the light kit is smaller in size than a normal bulb and puts out about as much light as a 60 watt incandescent bulb might generate in a warm white temperature (photo makes the light look cooler than it is). All and all it’s a solid product at a fair price. ... show more

Looks good and was super easy to assemble, I like that there is no remote. The fan does have a constant hum to it and we are unsure if that’s a deal breaker for us or not.
