Went up and together easy, works perfectly as described, and looks nice. It's a small fan, single bulb, inexpensive, but perfectly met our needs. I put this up by myself, and I'm a petite gal, this was my first time to try and put up a ceiling fan, and I had no problems installing it by myself.

The media could not be loaded. Looks good and came on time. But after less than a week I can't take the noise any more. I am taking it down and replacing with another quieter fan. I'm attaching a video so potential purchasers can judge for themselves on the noise. A total waste of $56!

Installation went very well and fan is unusually quiet, however the Alvina LED Globe Light Hugger/Low Profile lamp would only accept the small LED provided and I could not use a brighter LED which I would have preferred.

I thought this fan might be too small when I first saw the 17" blades, but it looks great and moves air really well with the 5 blades. The oak side of blades is the most attractive color. The reverse darker color not so much. I followed the instructions to a T as they were well described and easy to follow. This is a low-profile fan, 5" to bottom of blades and 11.5" to bottom of globe. There's only one, small A15 40W LED bulb but it seems bright enough. The metal finish is dark bronze which I love. Everything is tight to the ceiling, nothing is loose or wobbly, no balancing needed. The best part is the motor is quiet at all three speeds, certainly a lot quieter than my old 52" fan and why I wanted to replace it. I didn't curse at any design aspect of this fan. It's well thought out. I only had to black marks-a-lot the heads of the four casing screws to blend into bronze color. Nothing else extra. I'm happy with this fan and relieved it was easy to assemble. ... show more

I ordered 2 of these fans and only 1 is working properly. The process to get a replacement was so tedious that I ended up being stuck with the defective fan. My electrician was installing both the same day and the process to have him uninstall the defective fan and wait for amazon to ship me a new and working fan was too much of a process. You guys need to have better quality control to be sure customers are getting quality products. Visually the fan looks good, which is why I gave it two stars. I guess the defective fan will just be a “show piece”. ... show more

Our other fan burned up after 11 years of use in our bedroom. It was a cheap $20 fan from Walmart. I looked at many, many fans and decided to try this one. It was nicely packaged and everything fit together and worked correctly. It is very quiet and circulates air really well and that is all we need. I knocked off one star on ease of installation due to having to cut and strip wires to make them shorter for our wiring in our mobile home. You may not have that issue or just prefer lots of extra wire. Over all a good fan that I recommend. ... show more

Cons: does not push nearly as much air as my other 42" ceiling fan; pull chains are way too short; pull chains drape over the globe and rub against it when operated. [Not using with a down rod, i.e., flush against 9' ceiling.] Pros: low cost; pretty quiet, so far (only a few days' use, but not completely "silent;"); attractive design; easy installation with helpful install design that facilitates one person installation. ... show more
