Unboxing & First Impressions: Pint-Sized Power When the Goiaey C26 arrived, the first thing that struck me was its size—or lack thereof! At just 2.2 lbs and small enough to toss into a backpack, this projector truly lives up to its "mini" name. Unboxing was a breeze. In the box, you'll find the projector, a power cable (standard, which I love for easy replacements!), and the Bluetooth remote. A quick note: like some other reviewers mentioned, I had to scrounge for my own batteries for the remote, which is a minor annoyance, but nothing an extra minute couldn't fix. Setup was surprisingly fast thanks to the built-in official Google TV system. Seriously, it’s not some clunky third-party knock-off OS. I plugged it in, connected to my Wi-Fi 6 (the connection has been rock-solid and fast, by the way), logged into my Google account, and was immediately downloading official apps like Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube from the Play Store. No extra streaming stick needed! The on-screen menu is clean and intuitive, perfect for a projector newbie like me. One Week In: Living with the C26 After using the C26 for about a week in various scenarios, from a dark bedroom wall to a semi-lit living room, here are my takeaways on the key features: 1. This projector is literally the best buck for your money. Wireless connectivity, USB port, aux audio output, HDMI, and it comes equipped with most every single streaming app available. Super bright, perfect picture, simple setup, Manual focus, angle adjustment, mirror cast, super versatile, and great quality. remote… I mean… the pictures show the image from the projector at approx 10 feet away and no projector screen. Some with total darkness some with blue light. I setup mine with a sound bar which it’s definitely a great enhancement.

The picture is actually very clear. But we have had nothing but issues with this projector. We even got a replacement hoping it was just a faulty one and had the same issues with apps not loading or the remote not working. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this one.

The first thing that stood out to me with this projector is how compact and lightweight it is. I didn’t expect something this small to pack such a punch, but it really does. Because of the size, it’s super convenient to take on the go or just move around the house. I’ve set it up on a coffee table in the living room, and I’ve also used it in the bedroom for a relaxed movie night. In both cases, it gave me a really nice, big screen experience without the hassle of heavy or bulky equipment. Another feature I really like is that it runs on a solid Android system. That means all the streaming apps are already built in, so I don’t have to connect a laptop, Fire Stick, or anything else. I just log into my accounts and start watching. This was really easy to set up and we were able to start using it right away. I really like that it is portable and we can even take it outside on nice nights if we want. The quality is really nice and even if you don't have a projector screen the picture is fine even on the texture of a wall. It wasn't as expensive as buying a new tv which is really nice and we can adjust the size of the picture to the size we would like it to be, meaning closer to the wall for a smaller image or further back for a larger screen. This really makes it nice because you aren't stuck only being able to put it on a wall that fits it, like with a tv. The other advantage is we don't have to worry about heavy hardware to mount it or putting large holes in our wall. Also making sure to hit a stud so everything doesn't come crashing down. This is light and portable and easy to place where we want or need it. I think this a great alternative for the cost, we aren't paying almost a grand for large heavy tv but we have the screen the size as if we had. We have another projector in our home that stays stationary and bought this one specifically to move around where we want/need it. We are even considering using it for projecting images/video for the holidays.

Excellent picture and set up was breeze. Remote control responses in any part of the living room. The only problem is the latency issue when using Bluetooth devices such as headphones or earbuds. Fan noise is noticeable also.
