I saw some reviews on this item before I purchased it. People complaining about the product peeling off within 24 hours of installation, or the product not staying put, so yes, I was a bit nervous! But this was the best option after reading countless similar product's reviews! • I covered both windows that get all the sunlight and the house has been staying cooler 🤩 and my electricity bill is less than average for this time of year so I am happy! •I installed them in the night, when the outside temperature was around 50°F. It's been over a month since I put this over my windows (I like to wait a while before making a review) they are sturdy not peeling at all + look the same as when I first installed. I was worried about them peeling off with my energetic cats wanting to touch everything but that was no issue. • be warned when peeling apart film the noise is extremely loud! I woke up the entire house. (I'm writing this review at night, taking photos won't due them any justice.)

Make sure ur measurements are right so u get enough and can cut to size and maybe check prices. U need soapy water and to basically squeegy the water out from under it, youtube has tutorials.

This is really pretty, but we could not make it stick. I'm not sure what we were doing wrong, but it never adhered to the window and we ended up using a little mod podge to keep it in place.

I purchased this because my dogs shredded my blinds because they seen the neighborhood cat through the window. It was very easy to apply to the window and didn’t have any issues. It blocks the view outside/inside on the lower panel I applied it on. It also still lets a lot of light shine through so it doesn’t block the sun. The pattern is really pretty. Very happy with my purchase!

Getting ready to start on night shift, I need it to be black. Any light feels like a spotlight in my face. I saw this was on sale for 3$ something a roll and decided it was worth a shot. Aside from my crappy cutting, it’s amazing. We have two windows in our bedroom, and a window in our bathroom. I did the bathroom first, so it’s the worst one, but still blocks all light except my crappy edges. The second picture uploaded is our bedroom. Window on the left already has the blackout on, and you can’t see any sunlight. Window on the right hadn’t been done yet. But just to show the difference. I also bought black duck tape for the seams but didn’t end up needing it. Went on easy! Edges are as good as they will get. Overall I am very happy! With the door shut I can’t see my hand in front of me so mission accomplished! And far cheaper than blackout curtains!
