The treadmill seems solidly built. Like that it has bluetooth speakers; we were considering this or the Nordictrack T 6.5s but opted for this over the added features. The 18" (as compared to 20") track was more than enough for us. Was pretty quiet and easy to use, and so far, no issues with iFit trying to be intrusive and forcing you to sign up. Assembly took me about 1.5 hours- hampered by an issue of what seems to be a malaligned screw placement and so the frames could not be positioned properly for the screw to go in- and eventually the screw went in at a slight angle. Box was damaged and retaped- so I wonder if it was damaged on transit and maybe bent the frame a bit. Result was that when it was folded up, it would rub on the handle on one side (see picture- 2 inches of space on left, in contact with the right handle). However, I was not about to spend another hour disassembling it and delivering the HEAVY box for return- and since the track itself was unscathed and worked well, and we don't intend to fold it up much anyway, we got a nice price adjustment from Amazon and decided to keep. FYI, after assembly there will be two metal bars leftover- the instructions make no mention of this. This is in the same finish as the rest of the frame, and it near drove me crazy trying to figure out what steps I missed, until some good old Googling found that these were excess parts some users thought was provided for levelling, if needed. Wish the manual had at least mentioned that. FYI, while it's nice that it has a folding feature, it does not have a safety piston like other treadmills, to let it come down slowly. This is despite the description on Amazon: "The folding frame makes this treadmill perfect for tight spaces. When you’re done, just fold it, roll it away, and use the hydraulic foot bar for an easy, smooth landing". So, when you unlatch the bar that holds it up, it will drop down. Something to consider if you intend to fold it up for storage, and have young kids who crawl around as it's a potential safety issue. Indeed, I was nervous when the folded track was above me, when I was completing the part of the assembly that required it to be up. A bit annoyed by the inaccurate online description here, which led to our selection of this model. Would I buy it again- probably- but I'd like to know what I'm getting before picking it. Bluetooth speaker was convenient- though admittedly sounded teeny, like those from cheap PC speakers. ... show more
