First a couple of things. I'm not a runner. My treadmill use is for walking and I keep the speed around 2.5 to 3mph. I also don't use iFit so I cannot comment on how good or bad that feature is on this treadmill. I have been using an old Weslo treadmill that is around 8 years old. I use it just about every night and it is showing it's age. I wanted to replace it with something a tad larger and with an incline feature. Watched a few dozen reviews and narrowed it down to Nordictrack and Proform. It was basically a flip of the coin with Proform getting a few more positive reviews and saves me a little coin. It just felt like the best value for the money. Amazon did a great job of delivery and assembly took about two hours. The hardest part was getting the tread/base out of the box and in the general neighborhood of where I would use the treadmill. I have a tile floor and was able to lift/drag the base using a thick blanket to protect the base. It's best to get a second pair of hands to get the base out of the box where you can work on it. Once that is done, assembly is a breeze and can be done on your own. Just follow the directions and if they read "don't fully tighten the screws", well, don't tighten them. Once assembled, you can register and sign up for iFit or just use the treadmill on manual mode (you set the speed/incline). The readout is bright and big. Easy to read as you workout. The onboard fan does a nice job, sending a slight breeze towards your head and shoulders. I didn't connect any audio via bluetooth yet, but that will be a nice feature to take advantage of. The incline feature is great. The max is 12% and it doesn't take long to raise or lower. Speed settings are very similar to what I had with the Weslo, with 2.5mph being about right. Neat thing about the incline, after walking/running on a raised level, once you go back to 0% it feels as if you are walking/running downhill. I like this treadmill and it is a step up from the old Weslo I had. Build feels really durable and the noise level isn't terrible. If the Welso noise level was a 3, the Proform is a 4. While I like the treadmill, there are a few areas that could be better. The arm bars aren't too big or small, but when you get sweaty, they can be a little slippery. I would have liked to have seen a little texture or maybe padding to give it a little grippyness. Same can be said of the cross bar. When you raise the tread, the entire treadmill can be tilted back and rolled around. The wheels are standard plastic wheels and while it's not the worst thing to roll the Proform around, I think a larger wheel or a rubber tread would help. Lastly, and this is more for all treadmills, there needs to be a way to mount dumbbells on the treadmill. Periodically, as I walk, I stop and do a few arm curls. Without a mount, I'll get a length of wood and create a second crossbar to hold the dumbbells. It would be nice to have something that could hang from the existing crossbar to hold the weights. All in all, I have no issues recommending the Proform to anyone looking to replace an older treadmill or looking to buy their first. It's a good option. ... show more

Bought this for my daughter. She said set up wasn't very difficult, although it took a little time due to several steps (common with most treadmills) . She's not mechanically inclined, so it must have been fairly simple to set up. She says it feels very sturdy and she uses it almost daily with no issues so far. It has plenty of adjustments that allow you to tailor your exercise to your liking. I also liked that this one doesn't press you into a subscription service. I did extensive research and found this unit to be a great balance of value for performance and durability. It seems to be all I had hoped for. I think this one is well made and should last several years, like others we've bought in the past. ... show more

Wish I can give zero stars. Product worked somewhat for 4 months it started to slowly stop as I was on the machine. Today completely turned off while I was running when I tried to turn it back on it jolted then completely back off. I’ve contacted Amazon they asked me to contact the company directly I did and they wouldn’t help me I then contacted Amazon after switching me to 5 different people stating they can’t help me nor partial refund credit.
