These table knives cut steak and anything else with ease. I had to replace these knives, my original set got lost in a move. I bought the complete set in the early 80's and they are all super sharp to this day.

My grand daughter was over for steak dinner and her and husband were amazed how sharp the steak knives are so I bought them a set for Christmas. I have my mom's full set of Cutco knives that my dad bought about 1952. I think he paid about $50 for set back then. Just before mother died she sent some of set to be sharpened and they in addition replaced handles that had any burn marks or cracks, which I thought was pretty great. My dad bought set of steak knives before he passed in 2007 and I love them. So Cutco does live up to their life time commitment. ... show more

These are the very best steak knives I have ever owned! They serve many purposes. I find myself reaching for them to slice cheese, veggies or even a stick of butter. They are a bit pricey, but worth every penny and will never lose their attractive appearance or sharpness.

I bought a set of about 20 Cutco knives about 10 years ago. Best knives in the world. The dinner steak knives kept going missing until I got down to about 2. My husband did not want to pay like $500 for a new set of 8. So we bought a couple different sets of Amazon knives. Ultimately some were sharp but they were all terrible in comparison.
