Easy to assemble and easy to use. It took me only 10 minutes to assemble everything and test using it. Instructions are clear and simple. This metal detector claims to be able to tell what kind the detected object is, copper coin, silver, iron etc. So I buried a penny, a dime, a quarter and an old silver trade dollar in the soil, about two inches deep. And test it out. To my surprise, it accurately detected the silver coin, the copper penny! It got confused a bit with the quarter. But it found all the objects. I plan to do a treasure hunt on the beach.

The detector was quick to assemble right out of the box—didn't take more than a few minutes. The instructions were clear, and everything felt solid once put together. I did a quick test in the backyard and was impressed with how sensitive it is. It picked up small objects without any issues. Looking forward to taking it to the beach with some friends soon and doing a little exploring. Should be a fun addition to our weekend outings.

This is so simple to use! I read a lot of reviews about other detectors, calibrating this, calibrating that, and I simply wanted to go out and find something. I did that with this! I found coins, really old nails, old lids, and stuff. It seems pretty sturdy, fits well, after disassembled, in a relatively small bag, and I wrap the screen in something to protect it from scratches and/or dings. So far it functions as I expected, and with simplicity. I’m not out to find the lost city of gold. I just want to have fun with family and friends, using our imagination, and coming up with stories about an old nail we found. That in itself has been a tremendous value for the money!

This metal detector is easy to set up and very responsive! The LCD screen is clear, and I love that it has multiple detection modes. Took it out to the beach and found some coins and a bottle cap on day one. The included shovel and batteries are a great bonus.

Found several barbed wire pieces. 1 was sticking out of the ground it said the rest was 18". Nope not digging that up.
