Works on Manjaro Linux 21.2.6. Cord is only just long enough to use the cable management track when using a Framwork laptop. Fits horizontally into a large 12" Cumberland Concepts zipper bag. USB-C and Ethernet ports should have been in the middle rather than the ends.

This docking station is perfect for a laptop because it sits under the laptop and has all the connections on one side. Makes for very neat and tidy desk. Most other docking stations are boxy and have connectors around many sides. You're forced to have them sit on top of your desk taking up space with messy cable arrangement. PS: It works just fine!

This would have worked perfectly for me, except the LAN port was unstable. It kept dropping and reconnecting, which killed the VPN every time. I’m talking every few minutes. I did troubleshooting, contacted their tech support- which directed me to try a few system settings- nothing helped. I ordered a different brand- a little more expensive- and that has been working perfectly. Still cheaper than a Dell model. I cannot recommend this item since the LAN port is unstable in my experience. If you don’t need to connect to a network with a hard-wire, and can be exclusively on wireless, then this might be a cheap alternative that works for you.

I've been trying to find a way to give my laptops extra ports so I've tried several docking stations. This one is actually pretty good. The PD USB-C port does provide pass through power. To give you an idea, I used this specifically with a DELL XPS 15 that I just purchased (only has 4 USB-c ports). However, when using the PD USB-C windows compains that the battery isn't charging as designed. Just note, even though it notes this the PD USB-C port does still charge the laptop just fine.Other ports I've tried are the HDMI, the ethernet port, the PD usb-c port, and the regular USB ports. All work fine, with one caveat. The ethernet connection does have a tendency to drop every once in a while. For me, this affects my VPN connection and I have to reset it when it does. But other than this, everything else works great. Would I recommend this? Yes! Just note the possible ethernet cable issue.
