Unit does not hold water, multiple leaks. Unit feels unstable after everything has been tightened. I would not buy again and if it was simple to unbolt and repack I would certainly return. Price point was more than a couple others that I should have tried instead.

All the parts were labeled well so it was simple to go step by step. Pay attention to the first step as bars are placed on top and underneath and fastened with the same bolts. I assembled it by myself though it would be wise to have help as holding it in place and installing all the bolts wasn’t easy but I managed. I used sand to fill the base and the hole could be bigger, Takes a while to fill but every product I saw was similar. ... show more

Assembly instructions are pictures only, non-verbal. First steps required attaching braces to both front and back of base, but that wasn't clear from images provided, required a couple of do overs. Also, braces seem to be labeled correctly, but the bends in the end of the upper braces requiring forcing into place. ... show more

It looks pretty sturdy. Hired someone to put it together. We have ours set at 8ft. When it's time to go to 10ft I hope it's not difficult?

    • The hoop would suit younger children better. The higher its raised, the less sturdy it becomes.
There were no instructions in the box. We were able to assemble it with a video we found on you tube, after a a few redo's. My son is 6'2" and needs it at the highest it can go, which leaves the hoop unstable. The netting around the hoop is spaced differently and not well made.
