With this lil guy, you got the power; your car is the power for laptops.
This inverter is a great item as described. For a small contraption that you can even hold with one hand, its size is very convenient, doesn't take much space and seems compatible for almost all laptops that have a three prong cord. As long as your 12 volt adapter (smoking lighter in car) is working, it charges your laptop which you can use during charging and it comes with type-c port which you can also recharge your cell phones, chargers for phones and certain small type-c devices. The pro chaser delivers 110 volts output which is safe for aforementioned devices since US mainly uses 110 voltage. In other words, 'do not use any device that requires 220 volt output' on this inverter. I haven't experience any overheating though I haven't used it much, but I charged it once to full power without overheating issues, so if you charge one device at a time, it will be fine. Of course this is supposed to be an auxiliary power source for mainly laptops specifically in "only cars that can that generate 110 volt output; not cars that produce 220 volt output. Above all else, Do Not Use it in the house for anything for any reason. Use this in the car and only in the car. Finally, the device is user friendly, easy to set up with common sense and doesn't require instructions, but I recommend reading the manual for additional information and especially the cautions and keep the manual with you in the car at all times. Never discard it. You may find this item a life saver on road trips and whatnot and hey with the affordable price and if you can buy two. ... show more

I picked up this Pro Chaser 400W Power Inverter to have a reliable way to charge my electronics while on the road, and it has worked flawlessly. Works very well. Pretty quiet. One feature I like is how the USB ports are on even when the switch is off. Adhesive provided is finicky and cheap quality, had to use duct tape instead for my situation. Overall works pretty well and suits my needs well. Compact, great looking design and very easy to use. Works great.
I am reviewing this inverter right after receiving it. I may need to update the review at a later date if the inverter should fail and disappoint. Anyway, for now, the inverter looks very well made. It works as it should. It is very compact. It looks very good and is a great design.
