Totally silent. Worked perfectly on our 18 hour road trip! Build quality seems fine. It doesn't feel like it's solid metal, so just be careful with it! I plan on keeping this in the box that it came in when I'm not using it, and there's no reason that anything should happen to it if you take care of it like that. The cord was long enough to reach the back seat, even in a 4 door truck, and it's also small enough to not be in the way. This was definitely worth the money and it was perfect for traveling. We were able to charge everything we needed to charge the entire vacation, and it was a long one! So, it seems like the power is great.

Extremely disappointed in the product quality. It stopped working completely after less than three uses. No lights, no power to any ports. The durability does not justify the price at all. Hopefully, I just got a lemon, but I won't be taking the risk to buy another one.
