I like them and so does my young toddler. they are heavy duty, solid and big enough to be safe. My only complaint is for almost $30 I feel like the seams could be better.

Their toys are sturdy and appealing and these animals are the perfect size for little hands. I got these to replace the cheap animals that came with my son's Melissa and Doug barn. Love this set! My kids played with these animals for hours when they first arrived. They are large and well made -- they will definitely hold up to the rough treatment they will get with my preschooler and toddler. Just like all Learning Resources toys, I am sure these will be a staple in our house for years to come. These may have been highly rated products at one time many many years ago...but not anymore. As soon as I opened the box I could see into the bag that these were not even worth opening. There was glue oozing from the seams of the animals (which there should not even be seams based on the photos) and the paint was all messed up. They also looked dirty. Is this a joke?
