Description
This Jumbo Farm Animals: Mommas & Babies set gives kids ages 2 and up a hands on way to explore farm animals through pairing, comparison, and imaginative play. The set includes eight realistically detailed animal figures-cow and calf, sheep and lamb, pig and piglet, and goose with goslings-designed to help children notice size differences, build vocabulary, and create stories about animal families. Each animal is sized differently to reflect real world relationships, with the cow measuring 7.5 inches long and 4.5 inches tall, making it the largest figure in the set. The jumbo animals are easy to hold and arrange, supporting storytelling and early learning conversations. Made from durable plastic, the figures wipe clean easily after play. This set encourages open ended play that naturally blends pretend fun with early learning.

Learning resources never disappoints
Style: Farm - Mommas & Babies
I think the price is a little much but that seems to be the case with everything these days. But learning resources never disappoints with quality. Their toys are sturdy and appealing and these animals are the perfect size for little hands. I got these to replace the cheap animals that came with my son's Melissa and Doug barn. He's two and loves that each "mommy" has a "baby"

Great for toddlers
Style: Farm - Mommas & Babies
I like them and so does my young toddler. they are heavy duty, solid and big enough to be safe. My only complaint is for almost $30 I feel like the seams could be better.

Durable, favorite toy
Style: Active
Every child that comes to my house loves these big animals. We own several different sets. Worth every penny. My own kids are now teenagers but I will never get rid of these toys. Saving them for my future grandchildren! We love that they are large and durable. My kids loved using them with Magnatiles and wooden blocks to make animal houses etc. I love giving the animal sets as birthday gifts!

Well detailed but middle seams not too strong
Style: Farm - Mommas & Babies
Nicely weight, well detailed animals. Small cow broke apart at middle seam within 2 months though (and my kiddos are less than 1 and 4yrs old so not particularly rough). Looks like it wasn't glued well.

These are great! Don't hesitate!
Style: Active
Love this set! My kids played with these animals for hours when they first arrived. They are large and well made -- they will definitely hold up to the rough treatment they will get with my preschooler and toddler. Just like all Learning Resources toys, I am sure these will be a staple in our house for years to come. Thank goodness for toys that don't light up, don't make noise, and encourage imaginative play!

Low Quality, High Price
Style: Farm - Mommas & Babies
These may have been highly rated products at one time many many years ago...but not anymore. As soon as I opened the box I could see into the bag that these were not even worth opening. There was glue oozing from the seams of the animals (which there should not even be seams based on the photos) and the paint was all messed up. They also looked dirty. Is this a joke? This price is WAYYYY too high for this low quality product. RETURNING
