I used it to replace a door handle because we lost the keys. Easy replacement, just a screwdriver and the job is done in 12 minutes. We are replacing all the twist knobs in our house with regular door handles. I don't know who came up with these knobs, which when it's cold and your hands are numb or when old age sets in, it's hard to turn to open the door. Many door knobs of this shape are not reversible and look stupid, if your hinges are on the left when you face the house. You can flip these handles with an Allen wrench, nice feature. This is a sturdy handle and mechanism.

I used this locking wave door handle to replace an old round silver exterior door knob that was difficult to turn and had begun to tarnish. The black color on a white door is eyecatching and classy looking. The instructions were better than most products but did not contain sufficient detail for someone like me who had never changed out a doorknob. After finally succeeding in getting it installed and working, I realized that it might have been possible to get it right the first time by accident but it took me several tries to get everything in place correctly. The strike plate for this doorhandle was slightly smaller than my old one which required some chiseling and repositioning on the doorframe. Also, the latch mechanism for this handle had a backplate and my old handle did not, again more chiseling to make it fit. It is not made of heavy construction but does feel sturdy enough to last awhile. The included magnetic screwdriver did not cling tightly to the screws, resulting in several frustrating drops and misalignments. It does look very nice on the door and works as it should when properly installed.

Love this door handle. It's beautiful, and classy looking compared to my medal door knob. It was very easy to install. Took less then 10 minutes from removal of old lock, to installing this passage oil brushed bronze door levee. Plus, it matches my new keyless lock perfectly! Great price too for the quality. I highly recommend.

I replaced my round door knob with a wave friendly handle for easier access to the bonus room entry door due to my arthritis in my hands. The door knobs looks really nice. It appears to be well painted and a true color of black. The door knob was easy to replace. My observation is for the vendor to not drive the inner screws down into the drill hole to the point you can see them there as I spend 15 minutes trying to figure out why the 2 screws I had in my hand would not screw into the knob holes. I was replacing the handle at night so light was limited. I finally removed my door handle and with a flashlight discovered the screws I should have been using are already drilled all the way down into the hole. For people like me who does not do this often, I suggest backing the screw heads out enough that we can see that the screws are already in the hole and we need to remove them first. After I discovered that step, I finished really easily. The price is reasonable for the quality. I liked that nice magnetic screwsdriver head that came with the kit. And THANK YOU For using high performance screws and not those cheap commerical screws that the head will strip out as soon as you make one turn. I liked that there was 3 keys with the doorknob. I am happy with the product thus far.

Most locks have the flat position as unlock, and vertical position as locked. This lock is the opposite. It’s kinda bizarre for daily use and takes some getting used to. I don’t like how inconsistent it is making my locks. I may have to replace it again.
