We bought an Epson C3500 and were not happy with the labels it printed. They were grainy. We decided to take a chance on the Primera and were blown away with the quality. Hand down better printer and has been rock solid since we stared. Don't let the little ink cartridge fool you, we have printed TONS of 4 x 5 color labels and the original cartridge is going strong. Waiting to see the final count. So why 4 stars? Support is not the greatest, at least not for us. The initial setup was a little harder, and we could not get the printer to recognize the print cartridge. After spending time in a chat with support, (45 minutes because they talk to 20 people at once) we finally got it working. I use the High Yield Color 53374 cartridges to print labels with the LX500 printer. I have purchased this cartridge direct from Primera as well as Amazon and have had the same trouble with both routes. It's hit and miss when the cartridges want to work properly. When they aren't working properly, it will force me to change a brand new or gently used cartridge even if the printer properties shows that there is still plenty of life left in that cartridge. I've attempted the usual unplug printer, turn off, align and clean and sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. I am pretty unhappy with this product as well as Primera Technology and their printer LX500. ... show more

I bought 4 cartridges from this user. 3 of the cartridges worked flawlessly which is why im giving them a 2 star. one of the cartridges i put into my machine didnt work correctly. Supplier will not replace the broken cartridge which is still 100% full for a new one and AMAZON will not do anything about it.
