  • Amazing - Print on the Go: HP OfficeJet 250 - All-in-One Portable Printer "Wireless"
Style: Printer
I recently purchased the HP OfficeJet 250 - All-in-One Portable Printer and I have to say, it has made my life so much easier. As someone who is always on-the-go, the ability to print from both my phone and laptop has been a game changer. Setting up the printer was a breeze, thanks to its wireless and mobile printing capabilities. This feature allows me to seamlessly print from my phone or laptop without having to connect any cords or wires. Plus, the printer's compact size makes it extremely portable, making it perfect for travel or taking to meetings. The quality of prints is also impressive. The colors are vibrant and the text is crisp, just like any traditional printer. I am able to print documents, photos, and even scan important files all in one device. One of my favorite features of this printer is its long battery life. I can easily print multiple pages without having to worry about constantly charging it. This has saved me so much time and frustration. Overall, I highly recommend the HP OfficeJet 250 - All-in-One Portable Printer for anyone who needs a reliable and convenient printing solution. It truly lives up to its name as "Print on the Go." Amazing product! ... show more

  • Great printer but....
Style: Printer
This is a great little printer. Super compact and will suit my purposes. I have a laptop that doesn’t come with a port for a CD so the included install CD was useless to me. I followed the setup instructions on the printer screen with no problems but was not able to print due to an error which said “encryption credentials have expired”. I called HP tech support and they don’t answer so you have to leave a message for a call back. Ugh. They called a couple hours later and were totally unhelpful. I finally had to end the call after 40 minutes and no resolution. Subsequently searched YouTube for that error message and apparently it’s a pretty common issue. There was a list of steps to follow which fixed the problem. I wouldn’t suggest not buying this printer since it is great, prints fast and really crisp but just be aware you may need to be patient with the setup. Of course you can always hook up with USB cable and skip the hassle. ... show more

  • HP has horrible, terrible, non-existent tech support.
Style: Printer
Bought this printer because my sister has the exact same one and it works great. Setup was a breeze. I love that you can print from any device wirelessly as long as you are on the same network (phone, laptop, ipad...whatever). So the printer is fantastic. However, HP is worthless. Actually less than worthless. Turns out there are two (maybe three) Officejet 250 printers for your computer to discover when you hit 'Print' and for whatever reason the default is the one that is not on the network so the printer shows as offline no matter what troubleshooting you do. I spent HOURS trying to figure this out because it comes up nowhere in the installation documentation or in their online support (which is apparently the only option they have). HP virtual assistant was no help, their native troubleshooting software found nothing and when I finally was able an track down an HP support number (had to Google it b/c it is nowhere on the website) to talk to someone the line got mysteriously disconnected after being directed to the correct department and I'd been on hold for 15 minutes and when I called back I got stuck in the voice directory loop and it wouldn't register anything I said. Nice work HP. You suck. I was finally able to resolve the issue when I went on my Amazon page to return this $300 doorstop. There is an option for Amazon tech support. So I gave it a shot. This guy was so patient and helpful even though I was beyond frustrated and kind of taking it out on him at first. But after an hour on the phone we figured it out! And I am so grateful. Thank you Amazon! Julen was my Amazon tech support guy. He is not an HP employee and had no idea where to start helping resolve this issue but he stuck it out on the phone with me for an hour until we figured it out. He also struggled to find information on the HP site and in the online documentation. So please make no mistake, if this rating was based on the product and company that made it, I would give it zero stars. This 5 star review is for Amazon only. Bezos, maybe consider buying HP and straighten them out. ... show more

  • The best printer I have ever owned!
Style: Printer
I have had this printer for 8 years, and it is still going strong. The print quality is amazing, and the cartridges seem to last a decent amount of time. I love that I can tuck this printer away so it is not sitting out on a counter. I have a carrying case, so it is easy to transport. I highly recommend this printer to anyone! ... show more

  • Worked Great… until it didn’t
Style: Printer
I’ve had 3 of these over the last 3 years and they all seemed to get about 1 year of use and would just malfunction. The first 1 I had messed up with misprinting using genuine hp ink, the 2nd one wouldn’t hold a charge and for mobile printing that’s a must! The 3rd and final one won’t feed the documents properly it keeps grinding when trying to print saying there’s a jam and clearly there’s not. These things are way too expensive to have this many problems. I’d stay clear of HP products all together they have declined so much over the years… even my county issued device has its issues but that’s a topic for another day. Anyway take my advice and go with brother they are the best money can buy plus it’s thermal so no more ink hassle 😊 happy shopping! ... show more

  • Perfect portable printer
Style: Printer
First, I have only had this printer about a month so can't give it a 5 star yet. I needed a printer that was portable and scan. It prints very nicely and print speed is good. Scans great. Was relatively easy for me to set up and use with direct print. Ink cartridges seem to be holding out nicely and replacements not too expensive. It has a battery to run off of but I haven't needed that yet so don't know that limitations. Overall I am impressed. The cost is somewhat expensive but for a good portable printer worth the expense. So that's my 2 cents worth. ... show more

  • Works great, takes up only a little space. Best little printer!
Style: Printer
I love this printer. I 1st bought it to print shipping labels and an occasional bill, however I have come to love it, and kept it for use in my small office. We do have a bigger printer in the reception office I can print to if I have a very large print job. I have used it in the car and in the hotel, but mostly it stays in my small office. It is very convenient and can be easily moved to another room if doing a something that requires printing somewhere besides office. If you need a small printer at your house for occasional printing or school work, but don't want they eyesore of a big printer, this is for you! It can even be stored in a drawer or cupboard, and taken out for use, then stored again Pros: 1.Very small - fits nicely in my small office. (I bought an insulated 9X13 cake pan carrier to put it in when traveling) 2.Can print from phone as well as computer 3.Battery if no electricity available 4.Good print quality 5.Fairly fast - not as quick as our main office printer, but definately faster than other printers I've had 6. Quiet 7. Can make copies 8. Prints 2-sided (extra step required) Cons: 1. Nothing to catch papers after they print (this is the ONLY thing about the design that I really wish was changed. 2. Occassionally my phone thinks the printer isn't available when indeed it is. I have never used the scan feature, so I cannot comment on that. ... show more

  • Worthy Successor to the Legendary Si Series...
Style: Printer
Finally, a printer that has enough going for it to be a worthy successor to the legendary HP Si series printers! I bought this, based on the reviews, to specifically to be able to mobile print from a variety of devices and after 3 months of use, I can say it functions flawlessly! Pros: * Sturdily built - finally a consumer printer that you don't have to fear breaking the flimsy plastic housing if you touch it! The housing and all external parts are sturdy enough to stand up to normal transport bumps and thumps. * Works with a variety of devices - be sure to have BOTH Bluetooth and WiFi enabled on your computing device (laptop, cell phone, etc) and it will find the printer with no problem. I have used it extensively with my iPhone 6 airprint and PC laptop WiFi with no issues. * Battery life is great - I go two weeks on a full charge, printing a few sheets per day, and have plenty of battery left. * Color docs look good - I don't print photos on this machine, but the color charts, graphs, and text are clear and sharp. * Works in a wide variety of environments - I've used this printer in near freezing conditions and it just chugs along without a problem. * Copy feature works great - images are sharp and text is clear. Note that this machine will scan and fax, as well, but I haven't used these features yet. * The price is reasonable for the features and reliability you get. * Reasonably economical on the ink, contrary to most HP inkjets. Con - typically, the HP brand ink is very expensive. Print speed is rather sedate, not as fast as the fastest ink jets, but it's plenty fast enough for mobile use and its reliability and ease of use makes up the difference. Other reviewers have said this printer could easily be all you need for a home printer, as well as traveling, and I agree. If you only print occasionally, this machine will meet your needs. After years of being disappointed (disgusted, really) by flimsy, finicky inkjet printers that didn't seem to live much beyond their first set of ink cartridges, I'm sold on this machine. Hopefully HP will continue this trend (and reclaim their soiled legacy) by extending this effort to their other product lines. Note - if you only need to print is B&W, then check out the OfficeJet 200, which is about 20% cheaper at this writing. ... show more
