Description

These window screen hangers are constructed of stamped aluminum and they come in a milled aluminum finish. They feature a top mount design with a J-hook keeper, allowing for easy hanging and removal of wood-framed window screens. These hangers feature a 3/8 inch projection at 1-1/8 inch wide, and they are commonly used together with Prime-Line’s hook and eye latch (Prime-Line part L 5535, purchased separately), for latching of wood screens to wood window sills. All fasteners are provided for installation.

    • Relatively cheap, flimsy aluminum hangers - not the steel ones they used to be!
Ordered these to hang a decorative panel. What I received was a relatively flimsy, aluminum product - not the stamped steel as stated in the product description. I mic'd the material and read 1 mm. I intended to flatted the brackets and mount them flush to the back of the panel, and the thin aluminum did make that job easier. However, the description does state "Heavy-duty stamped steel construction in a zinc finish", although down in the Technical Details it does state aluminum. Either way, I'm not comfortable hanging the 50# panel on a set of these hangers alone but will use them to temporarily support it level and then screw the panel to the wall. These are probably fine for hanging light-to-medium weight storm windows but Prime-Line definitely cheapened the product material and should make sure their descriptions match in all places. ... show more

Check out the size - these are tiny and very flimsy. I can bend them with my bare hands. No way would they hold up to whatI ordered them for.
