Are Christmas tree lights one and the same? Nope. Some are skimpy, and these are NOT. I was very pleased to discover that these lights are well made, shine brightly on the tree. It was easy to swap out a bulb when I accidentally stepped on one while winding the lights on the tree. This reminded me of a year when I did the same thing, and it was such a tussle to try to remove the bulb that I threw the entire string of lights out in utter disgust. Not so with these -- I purchased three strings of lights. Once removed, they got dusted, and nestled in tissue paper for another year. I expect that these will see many more Christmases to come. Lights are always the main focus of xmas in our house. These are beautiful, not so bright as to be headache inducing yet sparkle off everything around them. Lights per length is wonderful. They have yet to feel warm while working. Would buy again.
