I needed a good medium weight coat for central CA winters and this was perfect. Being from Michigan, I had a winter coat and T-shirts but nothing in between! I’ve had this coat for around six months and it’s been amazing. Fits well, although maybe a bit small. (5’2” and 125lbs) it’s well fitted and flattering, but I definitely can’t wear a sweatshirt underneath it.

Super cute! I purchased this for city use- not for hiking, backpacking, running, etc. In my opinion it does run small. I'm 5'6" and my measurements are 32/25/34. I almost always order an XS and sometimes an XXS. According to North Face's size chart that's an XS but based on reviews I read I ordered a SMALL and I'm glad I did. I wanted something fitted but with enough room that I could layer a sweater underneath. If you're trying to decide between sizes I would probably recommend sizing up. That said, I think the XS would probably still fit me and I think it might be the right size for some. I used to run and rock climb and was always looking for a fitted jacket that had warmth and durability but without bulk. For comfort and safety, I wanted things as slim fitting as possible and I think the sizing and cut of XS would have been perfect for those uses... too bad I didn't know about this jacket then! Oh, one last thing. Pockets! There are only two side pockets- they're lined with fleece which is a nice touch. But it's really too bad there isn't a sleeve pocket or chest pocket to stash valuables. The lack of pockets is my only con. Otherwise, no complaints.

I love the very soft lineing inside the coat that goes to the end of arms......keeps my body very warm when wind and water are at its coldness.......love this coat would like to buy a black one if they go on sale again!!!!!
