  • Wow. Just wow.
Style: Skillet
Let me start off by saying I have a VERY nice set of stainless steel pots and pans, and this thing has pretty much replaced all of them. It’s big enough for me to meal prep 10 to 12 meals at once, the nonstick is absolutely phenomenal: I literally can clean it with a wet paper towel in about 10 seconds. It heats up almost instantly and the heat feels very even. Chicken, pancakes, eggs, bacon, ground beef, you name it. I honestly made the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had on it tonight, set it to 250 and move them around and they were so fluffy and light. I love that it can store super compact but I honestly keep it on my counter and haven’t even put it away yet. This thing has absolutely changed the way I cook and I get excited every time I get to use it. Just remember to only use silicone or wood utensils or you’ll definitely wreck the nonstick. If you’re on the fence just buy it. You will not regret this product. Trust me on this one. ... show more

  • This is a great kitchen appliance
Style: Skillet
This is a great kitchen appliance, one that I have been missing for a while since my last one (not this brand/model) was destroyed by my ex-wife (hint to the reader or spouses thereof - don't leave these things sitting overnight soaking in water. It's really not good for the skillet or the marriage). This was the first thing I bought after our divorce - okay, just kidding, we didn't divorce, but she did destroy it that way, and the instructions tell you not to do that. Wait until it is cool, then gently clean with soap and water - I was very guilty with our last one of not waiting until it was cool. I know this isn't supposed to be an instructional review on cleaning, but this is key to the skillet actually lasting a long time. People often kill their skillets by cleaning them incorrectly, or using metal utensils on the surface. Read the instructions. Functionally, it is great. I like that it can fold into a small space, but I agree with other reviewers that putting the handles inside of the base is asking for a scraped-up surface. I put a dishcloth between the two for a while (and cautioned the wife to do the same), but have now given up on storing it folded up - dishcloths aren't always handy. Seems to heat pretty evenly to me, and the pour spout is definitely helpful since it doesn't drip back on itself down the side when you use it. I haven't noticed a catastrophic loss of heat through the drain spout, but I am not trying to use it as a steamer. I find it nice to be able to remove the top without having a killer puff of steam lounging at you, followed by splattering oil as the water from the top drips down into the skillet. There is still some buildup, but the spout helps reduce that. Looks nice, large cooking area (great for my big family), easy to clean - it's a winner. I've had to use the cast iron skillet since the last electric skillet broke, and this is infinitely easier to cook with (to me - others may disagree and say I just need to learn how to use a cast iron skillet). It was a long, rough road without it, but she's back now along with the joy of cooking. :) ... show more

  • Large and deep size and collapsible base
Style: Skillet + Electric Griddle
We love the skillet we actually have 3. Used the heck outta the first for several years, but the Teflon is a little worn. Bought 1 a few months ago, I know they won't have this depth and collapsible frame of skillet forever so we decided to get another a couple months later. It went up in price but thought it was still worth it. When I pulked it out of the box and Styrofoam the plug in area 9nbtgw base was bent. It seemed to be new, but I had to take plyers and bed it back into shape. No easy task. I assume this must have bent on the assembly line. I didn't want to send it back. Anyway... The griddle is great too, but the skillet is great. It's deep, large, easy to disassemble for cleaning and to reassemble. It can all go in the dishwasher which I will do on occasion, especially if the base gets grungy in the cracks. But I usually hand wash it with a paper towel and soap and water so the Teflon doesn't get abused with scrubbers claiming to be safe for these surfaces... they are not. When I stipped using so-called safe scrubbers and instead used a paper towel, the Teflon lasted much longer. It will eventually show wear from heat and use of wooden plastic utensils, but you will extend the life not ever scrubbing. Add some water to the skillet before it has a chance to cool, let it steam and there is no need to scrub. The heating element does a great job on performance. It has better surface coverage than many similar styles. The removable frame will collapse and fold into the base and everything fits inside nicely. You can flip the lid upside down to make it more streamline I do recommend that you set a paper towel or dish towel inside so the base and the plug do not scratch the Teflon. I decided not to dock them a star due to the bent part because overall this has been a favorite product of ours for years. ... show more

  • Love it
Style: Skillet
I love the size of this skillet! It also folds for easier storage. The heating elements work great and keep very even cooking. With how large it is I can cook for the entire family in less time. Easy to clean and nothing sticks to it.

  • Great skillet
Style: Skillet
It's a great size skillet. Heats up quickly. Cleaning skillet is a breeze. I love it. The only fault I can find is that the side handles are a bit flimsy, so if you're constantly folding it for easy storage you'll want to be careful. I have a storage area for it so I don't have to fold it down after each use, so for me that's not a problem. If you are someone that likes a large skillet for quick meals, french toast, grilled cheese, etc., you'll love this skillet. ... show more
