  • Really worth it? You decide
Folks I was looking for specific things in a new pressure washer. 1-Self Priming (Could have sworn RUFUS said it was...it is not) 2- Hose Reel (Well I can't figure this "hose reel" out...many pictures already show the lack of success others have had...got to hand feed inch by inch and still end up not really working. But does work as a power cord reel. 3- Adjustable power- Yes the power is adjustable from Min to Max and I can see the difference. Don't need anything too strong for the cars but the stone/cement does need MORE POWER. 4- 33 ft hose will get me a full three-quarters around my SUV. The 50 ft cord on my old tool got me all the way around...guess I can buy a longer hose because the fitting on this unit are standard. New hose will not kink...unlike the rubber black hose included. 5-4 wheels ( or a wide base) so I can pull it around the yard to do the house. Well I did buy the same 2 wheel upright model I already had...the price seemed right for the other perks. Now some extra bonuses. This pressure washer is very light weight (and small-ish). So just trying to un-kink the hose it would fall over...several times. Two of those falls, the hose reel snapped apart, but it does snap back in place a little too easily. The nozzle/gun holder slides out easier than pulling out the nozzle/gun. The noise level is very low compared to my 10 yr other pressure washer. Cleaning the car was not an issue at the minimum setting and cleaning the walkway at MAX with a 15% tip worked also. I could still put my hand in the stream at the MAX setting...might have to buy a gauge to measure actual pressure. Setup was a snap and quick. Like I said the hose fittings are standard and you get replacement O-rings. I had no leaks what-so-ever (unlike my old unit). WOW..the soap suds were thick and really clinged to my car nicely. BUT I was using my own soap dispenser with it's own tip. I did see the difference this unit made. The fact that it would not prime itself (had to run the water out the nozzle to get it to run) has me looking for other models that do...so I might be returning this. The joke of a "HOSE REEL" isn't funny...hoping someone will post a video of how to keep both ends connected and not make a birds nest when using the reel. But maybe I could use it as a power cord reel. It's cheap, feels cheap and have very low expectations of it lasting long at all. Especially at how easy it falls over. Make your own decision but I hope this helps. OH, almost forgot, I could still feel the vibrations from the nozzle/gun in my arms the next day. Did get fatigue while using it, again when washing my car. Does still mean more power? Weak hose? Bad gun and nozzle? But how will this affect the lifespan of this unit? ... show more

  • Very Powerful and Easy to Use
I have a gas power pressure washer at my primary residence, and I don't want to take it back and forth to my beach house. So I am looking for a second pressure washer. I have been debating between gas and electric washer. The gas one is powerful, but sometimes pulling start can be hard. The electric one is easy to start, light but most of the time are less powerful (less PSI and GPM). This Yeryork electric power pressure washer claims 5,000 PSI and 2.5 GPM. The assembly is very easy and straight forward. And it is pretty powerful. I used it to wash my car and the dirty range hook filter. It comes with 0, 15, 25, and 40 degree and I only used 25 and 40. The power (PSI) is adjustable, but I only used the low level. The electric cord and water hose are pretty long. Overall it is a pretty good power pressure washer. ... show more

  • False advertising. NOT 5000 PSI. Underpowered!
This pressure washer puts out nowhere near the 5000 PSI that's advertised. I ordered this to replace a 3400 PSI craftsman gas pressure washer that had run it's course and thought I could use the additional power that this unit advertised. It absolutely does not live up to the advertised rating and doesn't even come close the the power of the 3400 craftsman. Pros: -If you're looking for a very light duty pressure washer for vinyl siding or plastic lawn chairs or kids play toys then this unit will fit your power needs. -It is such low pressure that it is easily controlled with one hand. -The unit is very light and takes up much less space than a gas unit. -The quick connect lance is a nice feature that is better than the traditional screw on type. Cons: -It is drastically underpowered and strggles to clean smooth patio stones and concrete walkways. In order to clean the smooth stons and concrete, I had to have the nozzle less than two inches from the stone which meant it took much longer to clean then ususal. As a tall guy, I had to bend over to get the nozzle that close to the ground. -It failed miserably at cleaning a stone retaining wall where the bricks are not smooth and have texture. It also could not remove bug splats from my winshield. It could not even rip through the leaves of the Hosta plant that lines my walkway. My old pressure washer would destroy any leaves it touched. -The entire unit feels extremely cheaply made. I don't anticipate it being very durable or lasting the 15-20 years of my prior unit. If this was advertised as a 1500 PSI (or so) unit then I'd probably give it a much higher rating. However, advertising this as 5000 PSI is dishonest and false. ... show more

  • Easy setup and works well for a residential use
Just tried this pressure washer, it is perfect for my yard. It blasts away dirt and grime like a champ, just what I needed for cleaning the patio, siding, and walkways. The size is perfect for my small shed, not some huge monster, but powerful enough for a regular house without being a hassle to store. And those wheels is Total game changer. I just roll it wherever I need it in the yard; no heavy lifting or wrestling with it. Really happy with it, no complaints. ... show more

  • So so
A couple of things about this pressure washer. Pros: The tips on the wand are pretty handy. I really like the soap dispenser. I put concentrated car wash in it, and it foams great, eliminating the need for a bucket. Cons; The pressure is just OK. Good for light jobs. It does not have a GFI on the cord like my last washer ( I put it away without draining it completely last winter) Also, the reel for the hose is pretty much just for storage. You have to detach it from the machine in order to wind up the hose. With my previous pressure washer, you could wind up the hose with one end still attached to the washer and just wind up the hose with the wand still attached, which was great. I had to use a multi-tool to make the hole bigger in the reel so I could put one end of the hose in it to allow me to wind up the hose. Bad design. ... show more
