This canvas takes ink well and Reproduction of colors is great, be sure to allow the canvas to dry before attaching to a stretcher. We are printing with Canon pigment inks and they need a few hours to dry before handling. We tried another brand that would flake pieces of the surface when stretching resulting in damaged images. The Metro Gallery Nebraska print shop is printing for artists and events and everyone has been happy with the end product. Although we have seen ink loss at the corners where there are tight bends/folds we have managed to keep this to a minimum. The pictures are Louis Wayne 1875, a painting on the remains of the Berlin Wall and Jeff Hebenstreit - King Of Oz One other thing to note is that if you change papers in your printer often like we have to, don't wrap a band around this stuff it will leave a wave in the material and it will not lay flat at the leading edge when going through the printer. You will also get this wave at the left or right edge if you leave it stand on end. If you have this happen you can use a hair dryer on low to smooth it out, If you don't get it to lay flat your printhead may hit the media. New image is from the Artist Guano and the color reproduction is fantastic. For the month of September we put together 2 exhibits involving psychedelic art and most of the images from the 500 years were printed on this canvas and the response to the images on opening night was excellent.

I had no idea what type of media to purchase and I took a chance with this. I can say this was a great purchase for making signs and banners. The thickness is just right, yet not too heavy. It's not smooth like vinyl, but it's canvas so what else can you expect. I realize I didn't use it for what it's intended for, but it did work just as well as any other banner material. Grommets can also be added easily and since it isn't thin, you don't have to worry about anyting ripping. Print quality was excpetional - once I figured out I had to use photo media. I did waste a little trying to get the print settings correct, but once I figured it out I was good to go. The roll is pretty long, so I got more than my monies worth. This is my go-to for my banners and signs for my large printer. I may even try the cotton one as well.

I love this canvas. It's nice, thick, not too shiny (I'd say more of a Satin than a Matte perhaps), but it was just too thick of a roll to load into my 36" HP DesignJet T650 (actually it's an HP DesignJet Studio Wood, but it seems to be the same as the T650). My max external roll diameter is about 3.9 inches, while this seems about 1/2 thicker, so I can squeeze the roll into the printer, but it won't spin and so it can't be fed into the printer. I started thinking about this a bit and it looks like this length (66 feet) is pretty standard, and so with this heavy-weight 420 gsm fabric, no other brand rolls will fit, so I'm going to take one of my other empty tubes from regular paper and spool about half of this onto that tube so that I can physically fit the roll in my printer. HP does provide the external roll diameter on their specification sheet for each DesignJet, so check that before buying, or you can try what I'm going to. (Also, depending on your printer, you might have issues if your cutter isn't heavy enough, but you should be able to disable form trim in your printer driver and then cut it manually if needed.) Very important, however, one more thing to note: when I was going to return it, it looks like the shipper wanted to charge 20% re-stocking fee, even though it's a Prime delivery and all Prime deliveries have to fall into the Prime shipper guidelines and there's no mention of that fee anywhere on the page. Just keep that in mind in case it just doesn't fit, and you might want to look at other brands if you're not sure if it'll fit. All told, I'm thrilled with the quality of this with the above caveats.

I wasn't sure how I would feel about a polyester canvas as I've always printed on cotton. But, recently, cotton has been a little harder to find in the sizes I needed and was quite expensive! So I gave this roll a shot. Very glad I did! The prints are very good. The color of the canvas is a nice bright white. I was concerned about fraying. But, from what I've seen, fraying only happens if you fail to cut it through on the First pass. plus, this material is very economical! Great product!

Packaging is weak and rarely makes it in tact. The item itself is double wrapped in plastic which is great. But they need to work on the cardboard it goes in. I usually store the canvas in the cardboard box when Im not using it but I'm always having to reinforce it in order to keep the canvas protected, especially after I take the plastic off. Other than that its a good item.
