Can't imagine anyone would be unhappy with this lockbox. I like that it's deeper than your typical Walmart lockboxes so it's got more internal storage space without taking up so much external space which matters to me mainly because I ride a motorcycle most of the time. The lock works flawlessly and the box itself is well made and looks nice also. If i absolutely had to give a con about it I would like more of a matte finish which is just a preference I wouldn't lessen my rating over. Honestly for 14 bucks I think it's great ... show more

I love all these little metal boxes. There are obviously drawbacks, like someone can just run off with it, but they work well and serve their purpose. I'm sure they can withstand some fire, but I wouldn't count on it. It is pretty sturdy, looks like the rest of these same generic money boxes. Value for the money is usually on spot. So it looks decent, fair value, and the mechanism to open and close. (As long as you don't lose the key like I did and now I have to pick the lock every time I need in it. So I advise you don't lose them, haha.) I will say that there is a slight smell to it, I believe it's from the plastic tray. I haven't tried washing it, but that may help with some sort of degreaser. ... show more

This is a great little lockbox. It’s heavy duty, sturdy and feels secure. The key lock is great and looks difficult to break (unlike Vaultz brand boxes with flimsy locks and identical keys). It has some weight to it, especially when filled. I use this to store daily medication. This lock box meets my clinics requirements for a take home box to store my medicine. Most RX bottles from various pharmacies will not be able to stand up in this box. Only Walmart RX bottles with a FLAT lid -not the child safe type- will stand up in this box. Taller bottler will have to to side sideways because the box is only 3.5” tall max. Measurements from the lid is 6 1/4” tall by 7 3/4” wide. This box works well for homes with curious children, exploring teenagers, or anyone snooping; I feel safe having my medicine in here bc they can’t get the lock open or easily break the box without me hearing it. This box did come with a plastic tray for money, etc,. but I didn’t need it so I use it in a desk drawer to organize. For under $15 this lock box is a great deal. If you are looking for a take home box this is it. It holds plenty of bottles and is very secure. The lock isn’t easily broken. The key can be put in your key ring and not stand out. A Vaultz box from most stores is $15 which is absolutely ridiculous considering how poor the quality is, how easily you can break one, and all keys are the same! ... show more
