    • 5 Years Strong! Great Lil' Grill.
5 years!! This little grill lasted 5 years for me and my family of 4. Went through a new set of diffuser plates and a new regulator in that time span. The tabs that hold the diffusers up off the burners finally rusted through on both sides a few months ago, and kept using it, until i retired her. Never had any ignition issues, which is rare for gas grills. For the first 2 years or so, i made sure to bring inside my screen porch to save it from the elements after use. The last couple of years of its life, I moved and no longer had a place to store it out of the elements. It sat outside for a good year with no cover or anything. The grill grate is super high quality, thick stainless and has 0 rust on it. The shell has very little surface rust, which is kind of amazing for not being covered up for a good year n half, 2 years. Get this grill if you need a quick, portable, reliable grill, you will not be disappointed. Took this little guy camping, on the boat ( used on an island, not onboard, dont do that), and to tailgates multiple times. Its a solid little grill, and im most likely going to get another one just because. Im a charcoal lover, but smelling like smoke, and waiting 10-20 min for the coals to get hot in a chimney ( no lighter fluid 'round here) gets old quick, especially when you just want to eat! I just got a Weber kettle at my local Ace for 150 last weekend, and am seriously considering getting this one again just in case!! Cant beat the price (on sale for 100 bux!) and size! ... show more

    • Nice portable BBQ
Arrived today, right on time. The box had two holes in it from handling, neither of which were an issue. The BBQ is packed well and arrived without damage in a MegaMaster box just taped up with ordinary clear shipping tape. Assembly is trivial and no leaks were detected. The Piezo spark generators work great and a "match holder" is included attached to the back side of the unit with a chain. There is a very noticeable difference in flame from low to high and this thing heats up much more quickly than my home BBQ. Of course there's far less mass to heat. I ran it at low heat for 1/2 an hour, then turned it up to high for another 1/2 hour. This didn't seem to burn off a whole lot of manufacturing oils and whatnot, but it did cause a normal amount of discoloring, particularly the heat deflectors. The handle stays cool and easily used during this process. The knobs are plastic and the main reason for the 4 stars. I think they should hold up OK so long as I don't forget to push in before turning. I'm sure they'll break if I force them without pushing in, and there are metal replacements for this standard knob. This BBQ is made by Nexgrill and is a slightly different model than the two burner grill sold by my local HomeDepot. The main difference is the top is less sloped so this model has more room inside. The legs are different too, but they don't lock down, which is the other reason for the 4 star review. The construction is good, with small spot welds and rivets throughout. It doesn't quite sit correctly on a flat surface, but that's not an issue. The top has rubber feet and sturdy hinges, a nice touch that give the BBQ a quality feel. Another nice touch is the large painted grease pan that's slippery and should be easy to keep clean. Very happy with this little BBQ, and I'll edit this in the future if there are any issues. Made a burger in record time this evening. This BBQ heats up quickly and cools down quickly. Which means it uses less fuel than my 4 burner, even when I'm only using two of the burners. That this cools quickly and the drip pan is easily accessible means I can clean this thing right after eating. My big old BBQ was a real PITA to keep clean compared to this one. One month later: It's still a nice grill and I still like it. I've discovered that it heats up so quickly that when both burners are on it gets very hot. It does take a few cooking cycles to get used to it. Like other commenters have noted, it does flame up more than my large BBQ and the handle does get warm, so take care and use oven mitts. When the tank valve is closed after cooking, be sure to purge the lines because the BBQ valves will hold gas. Cleaning isn't as easy as removing the drip tray and washing it, but this BBQ is so small that it can be washed down with a hose and the flame diverters are easily removed for cleaning. ... show more

    • Great grill stainless construction.
Great grill. I ordered 3 years ago and it is still in good shape. The main parts are stainless steel with only a few like the flame shields and grease tray being carbon steel. These rust out in our humid environment but at lease you can obtain replacement parts. I did add a temperature thermometer to the lid. ... show more

    • Perfect grill for two people and super well built .
There are only my wife and I so we don't need a big family grill and this one is perfect for us . This grill is very well made with all stainless steel much better than I was expecting . We will use half the gas to cook with it because of the size , but don't get me wrong it is plenty big enough to cook a two person meal . Clean up I use a small pressure washer makes it quick and easy , yes the grill is easily strong enough for that . I thought the price was a bit high till it got here and saw how well made it is . ... show more

This is a feature rich grill for the price though it does not have a temperature gauge. It self lights and has two separate burners. I think it stands too tall with the legs extended, but that is a personal preference. It does not cook as evenly as I would prefer but does much better than other small grills I used in the past. One of the two knobs on my grill doesn't turn easily while the other turns very easy. Im not sure why. I like it and would buy it again. ... show more
