This product brings together all the features one might want in a vacuum designed for smooth floors. First, it has two counter-rotating brushes. No matter which direction the vac is being pushed or pulled, the dirt is being swept into the center area and the opposing brush will not let it escape. The brushes are soft and will not scratch the floor boards nor miss even tiny particles of dust. Even going diagonally across cracks will pick up particles from in the cracks, even at low speed. Second, the unit is easy to twist in circles around furniture legs, so there is no missing anything. Third, it will allow the handle to lay right down on the floor level so as to get under low furniture. Fourth, the unit stands on the floor against the wall and automatically helps the user set the height of the charger base. Great idea and great design. Works perfectly. It's hard to find something to dislike with the Dyson Omni-Glide. Works great on hard surfaces and and even on low-pile rugs and carpets. Your not going to get the massive suction you get with bigger canister vacuums, but light duty pet, normal dust and dirt collect this is impressive.     • Buyer Beware! Dyson does not honor their warranties! Lie to customers.
I registered my Dyson upon purchasing on December 3, 2024. My Dyson is still under warrantee until 12/3/26. The mechanism in the head of the vacuum was not working properly. I called Dyson and they sent me a label to return the vacuum with the promise of a new vacuum cleaner. I sent the vacuum back on 1/7/26 UPS with their label. I put the label inside the box as well. I watched UPS pack and label the box. I confirmed their receipt of the product on 1/13/26. I checked on 1/26 to get an update on my replacement. I was given a case number and told my replacement could take a few weeks. Today I called for an update 2/21/26 and was told my replacement was cancelled, because they received an "EMPTY BOX." I watched UPS package my vacuum and label it. Why in the world would I send an empty box??? I was never told this on 1/26. After being on the phone today with customer service for over an hour and finally getting on the line with a supervisor, they reiterated that their warehouse said the box was empty, but they would follow-up and to send them a copy of the UPS label receipt. I did so, but they are not disputing receipt, they are disputing that they received an empty box! Saying it is the warehouses' word against mine! If I would not have called today, I'd have no idea that my replacement was canceled. I am awaiting a response from them as to what they are going to do about this situation. I will never buy another Dyson product. They use to be reputable, but no more. ... show more

Battery life not that great but the mechanical ingenuity of the double rollers and smooth glide action are big pluses. Could be a bit cheaper but Dyson claims it is pricey for the quality and development….maybe fair enough.

This in my third purchase. Bought two last year for Christmas gifts, one for me one for my daughter & son in law. We all love them. This one is going to my second home. Easy to use, light weight, which helps my back . I can go through my condo very quickly. I have used these on large area rugs . My hair or lots of thing can get caught up. But it’s very easy to take the head apart and clean it up. Hold the charge for at least three or more uses. On a 1,300 sq ft condo with hard surfaces. Great product ... show more

I just recently bought the Dyson Omni-glide and already love it. It is the handiest thing to pull out and give the floors a quick once over. The suction is amazingly good, and I can do my whole 1400 sq. ft. house on a single charge. It’s so versatile in maneuvering around things, under things, and in small places. My only complaint, which I have also seen in some other reviews, is that sometimes junk gets stuck in the collection bin. I use an old crochet hook to solve this problem.     • 3.5 stars. What it does good, it does really good. What's bad is really bad.
First off, this is designed for a purpose-hard floor, quick clean up. If that's not your only purpose, it's not for you. The good: lightweight with great suction for the size. The brush head swivels nicely. Emptying the bin is easy and hands free for the most part (see the bad below). The brush head comes apart quickly for easy cleaning. The brush head picks up dust and cleans it all at the same time. The bad: If you have long hair, this is probably not for you. When you empty the bin, you have to reach in to pull the junk that's stuck to the hair wrapped around the filter. Even though you can take the brush rolls off, hair still gets wrapped around the shafts and it's not easy to remove. I don't know if it was just mine, but the crevice tool does not fit nicely. The brush head and extension tube slide in and lock with a satisfying click, just like you would expect from a Dyson. However, the crevice tool only fits about 75% of the way in and doesn't lock into place. Overall the pros are exactly what I expect from Dyson. But the cons are not the quality you would expect out of a Dyson. This a premium price vacuum, it should not have these issues. ... show more

This dyson is perfect for my home. I have a lot of wood floors and 2 bathrooms have vinyl plank and this vacuum is perfect, especially for quick clean ups.
