The C5 vette is often called a bottom feeder...it draws air from under the car the cool the radiator and feed the engine. This air dam maximizes the air flow at speed. I just added headers to my 1999 and wanted to be sure it was getting all the air possible. I was also really impressed with how well the side spoilers aligned with the existing holes. The 10mm bolts and thread clips were a nice addition. The metal brackets inside the side spoilers should help them hold shape for many years. It's probably just my imagination but I felt the car was handling even better after the install. Together they are supposed to prevent air from lifting the car so maybe I could tell. Purchased this for my C5 Corvette. Came with all needed hardware and took about 30 minutes to install. Saved a couple hundred dollars over purchasing from the dealer.

This is a great product that is easy to install with the hardware included. I unbolted the old air dam that was damaged from over the years and bolted up the new one (3 piece set) with no issues. Now the cooling system will get proper air flow.

1. The center Spoiler mounting tabs didn't fit. Not even close to the original holes. 2. Their return policy is awful as well. They don't follow Amazon return procedures. I had to make a special trip to a UPS store and wait weeks for a refund plus they charge a 15% restocking charge. I'll never buy anything fron this company again. ... show more

Put it on. Took car out for one 20 mile ride and spoiler fell right off. Time to buy one that’s not so cheap🙄
