First, I want to disclose that I have less than one year's drumming experience, so this review is strictly based on my amateur impression. That said, these sticks are MONSTERS! They are U.S.A. made which is another HUGE benefit and they are of the highest quality. I'm not a particularly "heavy" player, but the size feels so good in my hammy hands. I am hoping that these were not some kind of "limited run" because I would like to purchase a few more pairs. I can recommend these to anyone looking for a pair of substantial drumsticks. I was using 5bs before and at first these felt huge, but after a couple of times playing with these I don’t ever want to go back to a smaller stick. They provide so much more power with the 17” length. Definitely not a stick for every genre but of course that’s not what you’re looking for with “metal” drum sticks haha ... show more

I used Promark for many years but recently their quality has went way down. I bought these and so far I love them! They stand up to heavy playing very well and also spound great on cymbals and drums. I think I'm going to be a Vic Firth player from now on.

Played with 5A as long as I can remember. Switched to these and it make me play better. I don't have big hands but they feel so good in my hands. I use to always drop sticks a lot too and now i never do. My impact is better too helps me hit harder.

Love these sticks. Upon Arrival This stick was defective. No big deal. Not worth the hassle of returning. Keep an eye out for splits in these sticks.
