  • Simple Fix for a Better Bed — Added Support You Can Feel Right Away
Size: Twin (38x75") Color: Grey
I bought this twin-size bunkie board to improve support under an older mattress, and the difference was noticeable immediately. The mattress feels more even and stable, with less sinking in the middle. It’s a simple upgrade, but it made the bed much more comfortable. The low-profile design is great because it adds support without making the bed sit too high. It fit perfectly on my bed frame and was easy to place under the mattress. ... show more

  • Adds stability in-between the mattress and box springs
So this is a bunkie board and it's typically make to use in place of a box spring on platform or bunk style beds. Also the one I ordered is a twin size. It's well made but I feel it would not last long with an excessive amount of weight placed on it. Im using it as an affordable option for stability on a king bed. I put it in-between the mattress and 2 xl twin box springs. My husband has back problems and this provides more of a firm side for him while not effecting my softer side. Since this is a twin I put part of it over my box springs the add stability there and the rest placed under his side of the mattress. He said his sleep has been much better. This way also will extend the life of our mattress. We did not use the provided straps due to how we're using it. It's worth the money and the benefits it provides is priceless. ... show more

  • A bit expensive, but does help make a sagging mattress a bit more supportive
I thought I was going to need to buy a new mattress. Turns out, all I really needed was this "Bunkie Board" to make my old mattress supportive again. I love that it's lightweight (easy peasy to put in place under my mattress), and I love that it doesn't seem to shift around much. (I do have a nonskid pad to help keep it in place.) Even though it's very thin and lightweight, it's much sturdier than the scraps of cardboard I was using in a valiant effort to keep my inexpensive memory foam mattress from oozing through the gaps in the frame. While it's definitely a good product, it does seem a bit expensive for what you get (a thin piece of polypropylene). I probably wouldn't pay full price for it, had I not gotten it for "free" as an Amazon Vine reviewer. ... show more

  • Nice for sagging mattresses, but expensive
Here are my honest thoughts on this product. Pros: -Folds flat for storage/shipping -Includes straps for those who can use them -Keeps the mattress from sagging -the board stays in place if you have a ledge on the frame Cons -the straps are too long if you can't put them around the frame -if you don't have a ledge on the bedframe, the board may not stay in place The price is currently $89.99, which I feel is high for this product. I'm not sure what kind of board is inside the fabric, but the straps are cheap and the fabric is too. I could make the same thing for roughly $30 at the high end. ... show more

  • It makes a difference
This Bunkie Board makes a difference. I got this for my granddaughter to make her mattress a little more firm, and this did the job. This board is made very sturdy and has some weight to it. Placing it between the mattress and the box spring creates a more solid bottom for the mattress, which in turn, makes the mattress feel firmer. If you’re looking for more firmness in your mattress but don’t want to buy a new mattress, give this a try. It’s definitely worth the price. ... show more

  • Solid support
I got this for a twin daybed with old slats that were causing the mattress to sag. The bunkie board made a noticeable difference, the mattress feels firmer and more even. The core is lightweight but provides good support. The foldable design made it easy to handle and position. The straps help keep it from shifting. The daybed is actually comfortable now. The board sits flat and doesn't make noise. It works with memory foam and hybrid mattresses fine. The moisture resistant material is a plus. ... show more

  • Very useful
So. We have this daybed that's just the MOST uncomfortable thing to sleep on. Ever. Seriously, the ground is better. It's not the mattress, it's the link springs (shudders). I've tried boards. They made it barely better. This? This is great. Flips open and it has strap options if you want to keep it from sliding around. If you're setting this onto a metal base, you WILL need the straps. The size matches the spring base and have to admit that the daybed is actually a bit more comfortable now. Yay! I may need to get a couple more for the larger beds to help with mattress droopage. ... show more
