This is a solid, high quality product and definitely worth spending a little more compared to the cheaper (and smaller) ones out there. I’m a bigger guy (6’2”, 230 lbs) and need a firm, supportive mattress. I recently got a hybrid mattress and noticed it was sagging a bit in the gaps between the foundation slats. As soon as I put this bunker board in and laid down, I could feel the difference right away. Much firmer, exactly what I was hoping for. It’s true to size as advertised and fits perfectly under my mattress which was the main reason I purchased it. It provides full support across the entire mattress. I installed it under the foundation cover so it’s totally hidden. Also, shoutout on handwritten note from the family run business!

Waited a week to post a review My back feels MUCH better. I'm in my mid-40s and developing some arthritis there, so figured this would at least stop the mattress oozing between the slats of the bed frame; I did not expect it would help my morning back pain. But it has. Thank you. Brilliant idea, well executed. Works well, is lightweight and easy to add to any slatted bedframe. If you're on the fence just get it.

good quality, but it does slip around on the metal frame a bit, but not too much. the textured side doesn't keep it in place as well as described. BUT I really like it for keeping my mattress from sagging between the bars of my metal frame, and it also keeps my sheets in place when I tuck them in.

I wasn’t ready to replace my 5-year-old mattress, but it had definitely started sagging and I was waking up sore. This bunkie board made a huge difference! It gave the mattress the support it was missing and instantly made it feel firmer and more comfortable. I noticed the improvement after the very first night. My back felt so much better, and I finally slept through without tossing and turning. It was easy to set up, fit perfectly, and feels sturdy. We bought this because of continued issues with our king bed (we inherited through the purchase of a house) that was just too soft (despite also having box springs). Full disclosure, we also installed center bed supports beneath the box springs to give the center of the bed more support. We like the bed, but kept having issues with our backs and shoulders. The bunkie board is one of the few that we found to fit a king bed and the folding design made it very easy to install and has a smartly placed gripper side to avoid sliding. I love this. We put that directly on our box springs. We also loved that, because a king bed has two box springs with vertical support, the bunkie board running horizontal was an additional support cross beam. The mattress slid into place easily. It does add a bit of height to the bed, but it’s not overt significant and our dogs were still able to find their way onto the bed! We found the boards to be very strong and sturdy and I felt confident they would support the weight of my husband and I. The first night, I slept 12 much-needed hours. Here’s what we found. First, the bed is definitely firmer and it’s easier to roll (you don’t get so sunk in that rolling is difficult). My husband weighs 90 pounds more than me, and usually the bed sinks so far, that I just sink to his side every night. That is no longer an issue, and the firmness of the bunkie support. Easy install and great sleep. As a new buyer, I highly recommend.

Rarely do I go write reviews. I used to more frequently but this one is something else. See my bed frame is attached to a headboard, and the headboard has a door that opens outward toward the matress. It barely works because of the type of matress I got, and knowing that, it means I can't do a box spring. My matress is super nice but it was squeezing into the slats, most importantly at the top where the head is. It would sink down unless you pulled the mattress super far up. With all that said, this was my last hope. And hope was what it gave me. Never did I think something so thin could so easily not bend. It holds the matress up everywhere, and the days of my matress sinking are gone. The MOMENT I laid down after placing these, it was apparent how bad the sagging was. I'm so very likely grabbing from here again when I get larger or smaller stuff, like it's part of the matress purchase. It almost feels like it should be bundled. It's a little pricy, but the quality is amazing. It's thin, easy to put in, and just all around amazing.
