This is great for keeping your mattress safe. I love the quality and fabric. It is breathable and feel soft. We keep a fitted sheet over it, but whenever I wash our sheets I am always amazed at how soft our mattress protector is. I've had some where you can feel the plastic underneath and it makes noise as you move. With this one, you don't have to worry about that. It's also been put to the test and no liquids have gotten through to our mattress. We have a puppy who gets excited sometimes and will make a mess, but no stains yet!
