We bought with the intention of pairing with Apple TV (as advertised). Even though we attempted with two different remotes, neither were able to get power or connect to the TV or Apple TV. Bottom line: did not work at all (even the replacement).

Meh remote, may or may not have messed up my Apple TV. The remote works only when pointed directly and the volume buttons are backwards.

The remote works with AppleTV. You have to use the TV Screen button at the top right to turn on and off AppleTV. They don't tell you that. All buttons work except skipping ahead or back. The up down left right buttons will allow you to skip 30 seconds at a time but no fast forward or rewind available on the remote. For those functions you have to use your phone or actual apple remote. It gets the basic stuff done but isn't perfect. If you want fast forward or fast rewind search out another remote that has those buttons and you should be good to go. ... show more
