The only downside is that the paint on the inside burned off fairly quickly, but honestly, that seems normal for a wood-burning fire pit. Despite this, it still works exactly as it should, with no impact on performance. Assembly & Look: Assembly was straightforward and took less than an hour. The sleek black finish looked great out of the box, and even though the interior paint wore off, the fire pit itself remains sturdy. Final Thoughts: This is a practical, well-sized, and enjoyable fire pit that delivers on its promises. It’s given us so many cozy evenings outdoors, and it doubles as a grill when we need it. First and foremost, do not use an electric screw gun or drill to put this together. The metal is thin. Even using a plain screwdriver and the power of this middle aged small female’s puny muscles and grip strength I was able to overtighten and warp the metal of the fire bowl when screwing on the legs. You can see the outline of the legs around the screws attaching them to the fire bowl in the one pic. That said, this went together easily. Just don’t tighten screws until you have everything assembled. And don’t panic if you don’t see the legs in the box. They are cleverly tucked into the back of the corner foam bracing for the bowl. I wanted an inexpensive table/occasionally used fire pit for our patio. It will not see heavy use it probably wouldn’t hold up to here. If you are looking for heavy duty for frequently hosting outdoor parties or something, maybe look elsewhere. If you want reasonably priced, decent sized and should last at least a few years, this one is great! ... show more
