This is the second one of these pressure washer that I have bought. The first one lasted about 3 months. It was no fault of the pressure washer. My wife used it to wash the porch, when she finished she turn the water off and disconnected the hose without turning off the unit. About a week later I heard the unit running without water. This is not a good thing. Later I used the unit to wash my tractor and not expecting it to work, It worked for 20 minutes or so then it would not build up pressure. I was totaly impressed that the unit held pressure for as long as it did without the water hooked up to it. I have bought another unit and taught my wife that she has to turn offthe unit before disconnecting the water. I have had several different pressure washer over the years. None of them would hold pressure for any length of time. This one has proven to be a better built unit that the other ones I owned. I highly reccommend this pressure washer. ... show more

    • Great value pressure washer
I recently had a pressure washer quit working on me, so I was in the market and searching through Amazon. This one had great reviews and seemed like all the features I desired in a pressure washer. First off, the box it came in is small. Some assembly to put the handle and hooks on it, but it wasn't hard to do at all. Then you put the hose and gun on with relative ease because of the well designed connectors. The instructions included were clear on where all the parts go for assembly, and then plugging it in and using it was as easy as you'd want it to be. Electric, water hose, and then turn it on. When you attach the different nozzles you get different pressures where 3 are a flat pattern, and 1 is a pin-point pattern. The pin point seemed to be strong enough to cut into some softer materials, so be careful with that, but the other flat patterns were great for "scraping" off dirt, mud, moss, and other stains. This is a great price for a great product that has surprisingly good build quality. I recommend this unit! ... show more

Purchased this unit in hopes of replacing my older Briggs and Stratton gas pressure washer. Now my Briggs has never let me down so I was a bit skeptical. After receiving I went straight to work, washing down my bbq area and then my cars. Pros- lightweight- easy to tote around the yard, unlike my Briggs which was a good 50-60lbs - long extension cord - comes with handy adapter fittings and a storage niche for them - quieter than my gas, no need for ear muffs - easy setup - low water use - the foam gun attachment is a game changer when soaping down cars etc. simply swap out wand in 1-2 seconds and your in business Cons - housing and gun are virtually plastic so I’d imagine it couldn’t take a lot of abuse - short hose but can be remedied with an additional hose which I did. Basically attached my old 50’ hose to the new one giving me 75’ or so. Attached using a brass male fitting. Overall I’m pleased with this unit. I may never go back to my gas powered again. ... show more

They say third time is the charm, and that's definitely the case with this power washer. I owned a gas power washer for 3 years. The pressure was great but dealing with the gas and oil and getting the machine started was always a hassle, especially after sitting unused through the winter. I gave up on that and ordered a 2000 PSI electric power washer. The machine was easy to use but the pressure just wasn't high enough to clean anything any better than my regular garden hose and spray nozzle. Then I ordered PowRyte Electric Pressure Washer and got the best of both worlds! The pressure is terrific. I'm able to do everything with it that I previously did with my gas power washer, but I also get the simplicity of just plugging it in rather than pulling and pulling on the rope handle to start the gas washer. This is the prefect light weight for doing all the pontoon cleaning and moving around the drive way I was looking for. it's has plenty of power for pulling that seasonal grim and dirt off the seats and carpet of your boat but with the variety of nozzles you still can have a gentle enough spray not to worry about tearing your boat seats as you clean them up for the season ... show more

After doing some research online, I went to Home Depot to make a different manufacturers purchase. They didn't have it and I didn't want the one they did have, so I came to amazon where I spent more time going through several competitors. It seemed from reviews all of them had some problem, PSI, cost, falling over, hose too short, not enough spray options, etc.I took the chance on the PowRyte, as it met my combination of goals. I have only used it about 4 hours so far but was flawless. It took about 15 minutes to set up, most being self explanatory. I started power washing on higher PSI for driveway pavers and bluestone steps. As others have indicated large stone areas do take a while but outcome was worth it. I recently purchased the PowRyte pressure washer, and I absolutely loved the product. Assembly was super quick and easy. I’m thoroughly pleased with this product. I was able to spray all the siding on my house that had algae, and it turned out great. Also, I did all my concrete that had a build up of dirt, and it turned out really nice. Basically I used it for 3 solid days, and it worked like a champ.
