I rarely write reviews but when I do is because I want to spread the word and give a company props for their product. This is my first time buying an olympic bench from Powertech (not the first time owning a bench) and I must say I am very impressed and so far extremely satisfied with my purchase. I did my homework before buying this bench, I went to my local sporting goods shops, online ones, and read reviews from multiple sites. I ultimately settled on the Powertech because the constructions is solid, came in black, safety catches, squad rack, decline/incline, and the cherry on top... has optional attachments to help you on your fitness quest making this the most versatile bench I've seen on the market. I also was lucky enough to live near their USA HQ, I was able to take a tour of their showroom and try the bench before I purchased it. While I was at their HQ their sales rep presented themself well, well versed, friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to answered all my questions, let me try their other products, were not pushy at all (which is always a plus), and above all treated me with respect. I honestly, wanted to buy the bench directly from them but the sales rep told me I can get a better price if I ordered it directly from AZ which of course comes directly from them. How often do you meet anybody in sales telling your to go for the better deal? I really appreciated this and will definitely be buying more products from Powertec, I especially enjoyed trying the dumbells with the offset grip. # Packaging The bench was packed extremely well which if you've ever ordered weights or exercise equipment online can be a problem. Sure the box had a few botches but the bench pieces were wrapped in plastic and styrofoam. The sales rep assured me they take great care in packaging their products to ensure shipping is never a problem. Mission accomplished! I give the packaging a solid ten. # Assembly Assembly of the bench was hassle free. I would say about 80% of the bench was already assembled the remaining pieces were easy to assemble. Every nut and bolt was individually labeled and accounted for, the instructions were concise and clearly illustrated. You can assemble the bench by yourself like I did. # Features Where do I begin because this thing has so many of them: + Decline/incline bench + Safety catches + Hand screw safety latches on the seat and bench arms + You can do squats, shoulder presses + It comes in black + Solid construction and finish + Fully expandable with optional attachments (dips, leg presses, curls etc.) # Price For the features, construction and expandability I would say this is a bargain price wise. Also, you can rest assured you are not buying a cheap piece of equipment. Remember, you get what you pay for and I'm happy to report you will definitely get our moneys worth. # Conclusion To concluce, this bench presents a full feature set that you wont find in other benches at lower prices and to be quite honest at this price point this bench is truly a deal. You get high quality, solid construction and finish with a feature set other benches can't compete with. Definitely, consider this bench for your home gym or mancave. I'm out! ... show more

I bought this to replace my old bench and hate it. The handle makes it impossible to raise the back and do curls. The dumbbells hit the handles!

Not bad. I’ve been using this for about 3 weeks now and it’s just what I needed. Stable under 250lbs on the bar plus my body weight if 215 lbs. I’m 6ft 2 and I find that the multiple seat adjustments are helpful to get in good position.

I’m so glad I spent the extra money and got this Powertec benchpress. It is exactly what I had hoped it would be. It arrived mostly put together and only took half an hour to get up and running. Great design, look and feel. I also got the leg press attachment which took 5 minutes to slap on. Amazing products from Powertec.     • Sturdy bench that can handle a lot of weight
Strong, stable bench , with flat, incline & decline options. Fantastic ability to add attachments. I have bought The Pack/Fly attachment, the dip machine attachment, the preacher curl attachment, and the leg curl attachment. They all attach easily and work GrEaT !! There can sometime be a little wobble, because because of the way the bench is made, but it is extreme minimal, and does not affect the performance at all. There are handles permanently attached to the bench, to use with the leg curl attachment, that may be an annoyance for some whendoing bench presses.
