I bought this to quickly deep clean my bird cage. I have a pet European Starling I rescued a couple years ago. I've been looking for an easier way to keep his XXL birdcage clean. Deep cleaning is always a huge time consuming chore that requires a lot of spraying, then heavy scrubbing, then re-spraying & re-scrubbing. I've tried steamers, all sorts of sprays, mixtures, liners, etc. Someone in my Starling group suggested a power washer and I figured I'd give it a try. It worked great!! Easy set up, ran well, no complaints! Cut my cleaning time by 75%, I just got someone to baby sit the bird for 15 minutes, rolled the cage outside, sprayed all the pieces and let it sit for 5 or so minutes beforehand while I hooked it up the the hose. I used the orange nozzle tip and it cut right through all dried and cemented on bird poop that was stuck in all the hard to reach areas and crevices. Normally I would have to spray/scrub/repeat several times and then still use a scraper tool in many spots to get the stubborn residue. No need for that now thankfully! This used to be a 2+ hour chore that just took me less than a half hour!! Also, I've had power washers in the past, more expensive, American name brands that I felt this worked just as good or better than :) ... show more

    • Light duty for residential use.
So the compact power wash I had for the last 20 plus years is on its last legs---switch doesn't work anymore and motor sounds ready to give up. I don't know if this new power washer will last as long as the old but it does have some nice features my old one does not. The power hose can be wound up rather than trying to wrap it around the unit when it is stored. The pump does not run continuously like my old one. It only activates when the trigger is pulled saving some wear and tear and reduces noise. There are four nozzle tips, ranging from 0 degrees to 45 degrees depending on the job, as well as on board storage. My old one had only two spray settings. There is a handie place to put the cord after it is prepped for storage. There is no leaks that I noticed and runs fairly well. Residential use only. The manual was somewhat lacking in clarity and detail as to assembly if you are the type of person that needs such step by step instructions. There is an on-board hanger to put the wand but it is rather flimsy in design and construct given that this will be used constantly to store the wand and probably while in use to set the wand down. Not a place to skimp. Overall, for the price point a good choice given that it has features found in more expensive units. ... show more

    • Small, Compact and Powerful
This is a small, compact and powerful power washer. The "instruction manual" leaves much to be desired. I was able to assemble it easily, but only because it is not the first compact power washer I have assembled. Had I been a novice, I think I would have struggled to figure it out because the assembly instructions are not clear. And to make matters worse, it appears the original manual was in color, but then copied in black and white for distribution. Why is that a problem? Because there are four color-coded quick release nozzles. The manual has a picture of each, explaining the differences. Since the picture was copied in black and white, they are indistinguishable in the manual's explanation. So here is the key: red=0 degrees; amber=15 degrees; green=25 degrees; white=40 degrees. Red gives you the strongest stream, etc. The stand has storage holes for the four nozzles, but be careful because the vibration of the pump will drive them out and onto the ground. That said, this has a generous pressure hose length and a generous electrical cord length. It also has a reel for reeling the pressure hose back in. That is a nice feature my other compact power washer lacks. This one stops the pump immediately when you release the trigger, which is also a nice feature. All of the quick release connections work beautifully. All told, this is a good, powerful compact pressure washer that is a good buy at this price point. ... show more

    • Works pretty decent but has some issues
Overall, this is a nice power washer for the price. However, the instructions are not clear, it took alot of guesswork to set up at first since weve never used a power washer before. You also need to buy a hose because it doesnt come with one to connect to a water source. Its compact and pretty light weight so its easy to maneuver and store. The one issue we have with it is that it will just randomly stop spraying and you have to keep restarting the spray stream. No reason, cant figure out why and it just constantly does it. BUT when it is spraying, it works great has cleaned off years of mildew from our garage door, fence and now layers of built up stains on our cement patio floor, so it definitely is a good machine for the price! ... show more

    • Handy little helper...
This is the first pressure washer I've assembled and used on my own, so I have little pre-existing bias and an even smaller metric for comparison. I used this item to wash off my car and around the front porch, so it was a relatively light-duty job. Assembling the washer was easy thanks to the instructions and pictures. I made the mistake of turning on the washer before dispelling air from the hose, which shut it down immediately until I got rid of the air. After that, it worked great. It is lightweight and fairly easy to roll behind. The cord is super short, so it goes without saying you will need an extension cord. There are four included pressure tips for various jobs you're trying to complete. I used a medium-high pressure for the car and it did a good job on the body of the car but made little difference on the wheels. The included soap bottle is a little flimsy and took a minute to attach to the hose but it does the job ok. I was surprised by how well this removed mildew from the porch area without the use of any chemicals. Overall, for jobs that aren't super heavy duty, this washer is great as it is light, easy to use, and takes up little space. ... show more
