It's super easy to put the mop head on with its elastic band, and adding water to the small chamber was a piece of cake. The mop heats the water quickly, and it's ready to go in just a few moments. It's super easy to use and does a wonderful job steaming off the gunk on my floors. I've used it on tile and wood, where it performs equally well. My one complaint is that the cord is only 16 feet long. That said, all the steamer mop cords are 16 feet or less, so it's only one all drawback. Assembly was easy, product does what it says it will do, and its quite lightweight considering what it is. I have a small child and 2000 Sq ft of tile floors. It's always sticky and hairy. Until now, I had to sweep the floors, then mop with chemicals to get up all the muck without breaking my back, then water mop to clean the chemical residue so my baby wasn't crawling in it, then dry mop so no one would slip on all the water a regular mop leaves behind. I've been exhausted yall, and it still didn't feel all that clean to me. But today I got my bissell, and I simply swept then steam mopped the whole house, and I was so happy, and had time leftover to use the steamer on my fridge, stove top (it did wonders on the stove!), and some grout. Overall I was pleased with the results. The mop pad is so absorbent too, on my old swiffer I needed several pads to get through the whole house, this one did it all with one pad, which is incredible considering I hadn't bothered mopping in the last 2 weeks (don't judge lol). Like others, I did have a few complaints: 1. The mop head is difficult to detach from the steaming component, such as to put on the grout attachment. The button to release it doesn't work well on mine. If I had arthritis or something, this would be an issue. 2. The attachments don't hold up well. I hit the grout for only a couple feet worth of groutline, and the bristles are already warping. I think the weight of the machine (plus scrubbing motion) causes too much pressure for the bristle strength. I'll end up using the steamer with my own grout brush by hand. Too bad, grout is my nemesis and I was hoping this would save me. This was one of my main reasons for purchasing this product compared to the more powerful models (not 2-in-1s) so I'm a little disappointed by that part. Picture attached. 3. The cord is somewhat short. It's enough to do my kitchen, but not my bedroom or living room without switching outlets. Not a huge deal but in my old house it would have been annoying. If you don't have many outlets available or have a spacious floorplan, get an extension cord for it. 4. You have to pay attention to the water level. I ran mine dry on accident and began to smell something like melting plastic. I wish it was more obvious or had an alarm or something, but lesson learned. For the price point, I didn't expect it to be smarter than me ;) 5. Some other reviews mentioned having to hold the button the whole time, which was tiring for my hand and forearm, but I quickly figured out I actually didn't need the continuous steam. On the less yucky areas I used it more like a wet mop and it worked great, then hit the steam every few feet and on the areas that really needed the extra cleaning and disinfectant power. All in all, I'm happy with the product and how much effort it will save me keeping the house clean and safe. I think you get what you pay for with floor care products. This is a light model that gets the job done without all the bells and whistles (and overkill) of heavier duty competitors. I'll be using it frequently, I think I'm already addicted to walking around on super slick floors now that I've experienced it. ... show more

My kitchen and living room are covered with wood-look white ceramic tile. Needless to say this shows all kind of dirt, and the grey grout tends to show dirt as well. This neat little device completely cleans the floor with minor effort. About the hardest thing is stretching the mop covers over the device head, but that's not so tough. The mop heads clean up nicely and can be thrown in the wash (air dry to avoid shrinkage.) The only precaution is that you're working with steam - - so if you need to do something like change the mop or want to convert it to hand-held use, just give it a minute to cool down. Works great, inexpensive, and worthy of the high rating given to it by the leading consumer magazine. ... show more

I have the Bissell Crosswave Pet and I thought about getting the new version with the steam but I didn't want to shell out the money since the one I have now is working fine. I use both alternately. I love that this is light weight and convenient. I don't have to clean it every time I use it. I bought extra floor pads so I just pop one on and then wash 3 at a time with the bath mats. On the pad, there are little pockets for putting scent squares in. I use a cotton facial square and put essential oils on it. Works great. Cons: my only complaint is that the cord is too short. I would prefer it to be the same length as the Crosswave. I use an extension cord. ... show more

This doesn’t get quite hot enough-shoots out half water half steam. Water reservoir is small and is impossible to drain due to placement of the water infill hole. I live in a humid tropical climate and this is not good. Parts feel very flimsy. Would have returned it but missed the return window. Only comes with one mop pad. I do like that is freestanding and the detachable hand held is nice. ... show more

I have only had this cleaner for a few weeks but I love it so far. I cannot put it down! I am steam cleaning every inch of my house! I have always washed my kitchen floor every day but when I used this steamer for the first time I could not believe how much dirt it removed. I was able to easily clean under the overhang of my lower kitchen cabinets and in all of the corners by the doors without bending. I have been in almost every room now finding all sorts of places to clean! It is very light weight and changes to a hand steamer easily. For the price it cannot be beat. The only things I would like to see changed is for it have an on/off switch, and a longer cord. Overall it is well worth the price. I did not know what I was missing. Buy one!
