    • Follow the "break in" instructions.
Before I comment on this product I have to make mention, make CERTAIN you speak with your service advisor/mechanic (depending who you deal with for your auto needs) to follow the instructions on the package. I brought this up to my advisor. He said, "In 30 plus years I've never heard of such a thing. It's not necessary to follow such instructions." News flash, he didnt manufacturer the part, so how could he possibly know? After taking possession of my vehicle I followed the instructions on the package for [breaking in the brakes] to achieve maximum fitting/seating of the pads on hot rotors. You need to find a long un populated road. I was fortunate to find a corporate pkwy on a Saturday morning. Practically no traffic. I followed instructions for the "break in" of my new brake and rotor set. Now for my rating. After following the break in instructions, I found the brakes to be quite responsive. I'm very happy for the purchase though Amazon. I saved a bundle of cash. The brakes are new, so obviously this "assessment" of Power Stop Brakes is premature, but so far I like the performance. He braking action is great. I'll update this review after a month of use. It's been a couple of months since install and "break in" I will keep my 5 star rating. This is a very good break system. The ceramic pads even when hot have tremendous breaking power. I've had to subject them to emergency use in heavy city traffic. Stopping action on a dime. I bought these because several in the FB forum highly recommended them. Have not had a chance to install but they sure look nice in the box. Several YouTube install videos.
