9 March, 2019. Me; 2002 dodge ram 1500, base model truck. The breaks look great, the rotors look great but.... I got one side torn apart and tried to get it all put back together only to find that the rotor is about 3/16" to big, the diameter of the rotor. I tried to get the break calipper back on, but it just would not line up. In my 1st & 2nd photo, the old facing the new. I'll contact Detroit Axel on Monday and then I will update this review. 11 March 2019 update: Monday morning Got in contact with Detroit Axle. Figured out where I went wrong. When they shipped the items (two separate packages because of weight) they boxed the rear brake pads with the front rotors and the front pads with the rear rotors. The box for the rotors are not labeled front/rear. So I assumed that the break pads were with the matching rotors. Shown in photos 1 & 2. I was not compensated in any way for the inconvenience. I'm on my way to getting them changed now. 23 Mar 2019; Almost two weeks into the install and everything appears to be smooth going. Aug 2019; Breaks are working great. I have had to slam on the brakes several times do to quick traffic lights changing. I stopped as quickly as I wanted to. I am very satisfied with the product!

I installed these on my '04 Ram 1500. They went on easily. (I knew which were front and rear already). I'd reccomend that people use a C clamp and a block of wood to fully depress the calipers before attempting to slide them over the new pads. The quality of the product seemed good at first glance. I'm skeptical of cheap car parts from China. I will update this review if anything drastic changes. My truck does stop at least 30% shorter, It's impressive and better than I thought it would be. Slotted rotors are louder and may wear pads faster, But this is normal. All together, I am pleased with this product and hope that this kit holds up over time. After a week of installation, I'd recommend this to any truck owner.

Nice kit everything was there install was easy. Did all 4 corners in 5 hrs. The stopping power has improved 100% No noise what so ever when braking. When installing remember slots point the REAR of the vehicle I put them on a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 with a lift kit and 35s and it stops on a dime. Should have put these on year ago now I won't have to floor it thru those close yellow lights ill be a able to stop like a normal truck should. Can't say anything for brake dust yet I will update as time goes by. 35s are big a*s*s tires to stop

I've put about 2000 plus miles on them since I installed the rotors and pads. Works great! Stops better than ever! They were flawless on my trip from GA to TX last weekend 12/27/24. Definitely will buy again! šÆššŖšŖš
