OK, this was definitely a project to assemble, but WE COULD NOT LOVE IT MORE. Super sturdy and stylish and so, so happy with the quality and end result. It's a good cabinet. You cannot expect 'excellent' with this type of material. It was time consuming to put together and yes, some of the instructions are hard to follow, but it was put together. Had the same issue many other did with the doors having a gap - BUT this is FIXABLE. Just use the setscrew clockwise which pushes the doors together as you adjust and you can get that gap all the way around the door to be more aligned. Appearance is lighter in color but for me I'm good with that. I suspect, careful will have to be part of the use due to not having solid drawer bottoms or backs (just filler pieces flimsy); hence, why I cannot give it 5 Stars. ... show more

I love this thing, it is perfect for what I need which is amazing for me! I needed extra storage and I wanted something cute green also happens to be one of my favorite colors so this item was perfect. It took me roughly three hours to build is I took my time because well it’s a decent size project. I had my small interruption but which I mean my toddler wanted to help but even so the instruction were pretty straight forward at first I was a little worried for the back cause it does seem flimsy, but there are these little things that put in there that make sure it doesn’t wobble if that makes sense which was awesome overall, if I had to buy it again I would this seems like a good sturdy product if you follow the directions and put everything together the way it tells you to and it’s beautiful. ... show more

    • Cabinet is very nice but some steps in assembly were difficult and/or instructions can be improved.

Overall satisfied with the product, but several things can be improved: 1) In step 29, when installing the 6 cabinet doors (#15) using supplied "H" screws through the "I" hinges, it is very difficult to align the door/hinges to the predrilled holes. There should be some way to better support or align the door/hinges with the holes. It is also possible the holes are either not wide enough and/or deep enough to easily tighten the screws fully. None of the screws I installed could I screw in fully. 2) In step 30, the installation of "D" pieces using "F" screws into doors (#15) should be done in step 28 when you can have the door lying flat on the floor, allowing for better support of the door and easier alignment of screw "F" into pre-drilled holes. When I followed the instructions in step 30, it was very difficult to align the screws to go into the holes perfectly straight. This resulted in none of the screws being fully tightened. 3) This product did not include felt strips for the bottom of the unit. I purchased separately 2 rolls of 1/2" wide by 58" long felt strips. This allowed the unit to be on top of hardwood flooring without scratching it. I suggest the manufacturer include this in the package to make the unit safe to use on hardwood floors. Other than my comments above, I like the unit, and if the above were done, I could have given the unit 4, possibly even 5 stars. ... show more

    • A nightmare to assemble this Junk!

First off the material this cabinet is made from is not highly engineered wood. It is some essence of pressed sawdust with a thin wood like finish. Very low quality. Next up: it’s a nightmare to assemble because the predrilled holes with the hardware attached DOES NOT LINE UP. The slides for the draws are not placed correctly for them to easily open and close (some of the predrilled holes are missing so you have to guess where their placement should be. I did a lot of measuring & recalibrating). The instructions are NOT straight forward at all. Once you’ve gone through the first 2 steps, you’ll more or less need to fly by the seat of your pants! Although it’s put together in like 3 sections….. as you go along you’ll find that they left a few steps out. There are about 60 pieces to put together and a ton & 1/2 of hardware which do NOT quite match instruction or just not mentioned in the instructions as you go along (you’ll have left over hardware). I liked the looks of this cabinet on paper and wanted 2 of them for my new kitchen. But I’m now sorry I bought this one at all. The drawers are a mess, had I known they’d be so hard to get to work properly I’d have bought a cabinet without draws. You’d think it would be simple and everything would fall right into place as everything is somewhat pre drilled… But nope, not so much. There are way too many parts & hardware and poor instructions. I do not recommend this cabinet. Keep in mind, once you’ve gone through removing all those pieces from the box, laying it out & put it together to find its very poor quality, you will be hard pressed to box it back up & return it (trust me I thought about it). I’m not sure what I can do with this except maybe illuminate inner draws & just glue the draw faces in place (that couldn’t be done so I recalibrated the draw slides & got them to work). It took me 3 days to assemble, take apart, re-calibrate and re-assemble. Otherwise this cabinet is junk!!!!! Update: I thought the drawers & draw guides were a challenge. Wait until you need to put the doors on. Hint: put the hinges on the doors first. When you are ready to install the doors… screw the screws into the pre drilled holes, remove and then put door/hinge in place and fasten. I was unable to put the bottom screws in the bottom hinges as I can not stand on my head and work. After the doors are on you use the adjustment screws to adjust gaps. Unfortunately there is no stops at the bottom of the doors so they do not align. Last but not least: the outer skin on this think is so thin it easily chips!!! I won’t be buying anymore of this JUNK!!! ... show more
